Beautiful park that we stumbled across after a morning in the Prado. Lovely boating lake and cafes in the shade to relax and watch the world go by. Live music buskers and near the metro. Stop and re-charge as you enjoy life in Madrid.

This park has it all and should not be missed if you go to madrid. We stumbled across a photographic exhibition as well as the amazing fountains and statues. Take the camera and relax.

Large inner city park, very popular with locals at the weekend. Lots of pathways to wonder around and the focal point of the lake allows you to rent a boat if you're up for it. Would recommend taking a walk through to see

Retiro park is very big, didn't get a chance to see it all, but if you're looking for a chilled out evening with friends, the boat rides would be perfect, reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend. Easy to get to using metro.

I also didn't see a train on a walk through the park, but again might be in a bit of the park I didn't see.
