Thank-you so much for your great review!! It was my pleasure and hope to see you again soon!
I have run on running tours in about a dozen other worldwide cities (mostly in the US) but this tour was perhaps my favorite. John was a wonderful guide, and logistics were planned well in advance (and promptly after inquiring for a reservation). I learned...More
Way above our expectations! We chose the historical tour and found John to be a fabulous guide - friendly, informative, full of stories and recommendations, very happy to accommodate our pace, spent time to find out what sort of tour we really wanted and adapted...More
We looked up at trip advisor site, and booked the tour. John was an excellent guide. He felt the group in matter of running pace(differences between group members).

Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced, collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping spot where the major Spanish clothing and department store chains are less busy than their downtown
counterparts, and there is an array of casual dining options to choose from. Check out nearby outdoor spaces such as the lushly planted Plaza de España to the south, which is often filled with craft stalls. To the west of Arguelles is the giant Parque Oueste, a calm and picturesque park with its own Egyptian temple.

These are private tours so you are generally with a group you know. The theory is that you run at the pace of the slower members. You don't have a mixed group of people you don't know. I suggest you contact John and ask... More
