    A Taste Of Madrid.
Museo Del Jamón is a fantastic restaurant and bar on Cra.de.S.Jerónìmo and was an excellent place to have a few drinks and a tapas dish. A very busy restaurant and bar that was so busy we had to take a seat by the bar and had a few beers. The place itself has a nice look and feel with many hams adorning the whole interior. When we visited here we had a few glasses of local Spanish beers and a superb tapas dish. The beers and tapas were superb and were really well priced. This is a superb bar and restaurant in a superb area and really easy to find from Sol metro stop it's a short walk away.(This is my first review of Museo Del Jamón). Opening Hours. Monday-09.00-00.00. Public Transport. Metro Stop. Sol metro stop.

    Great visit
As temperatures were hitting 42 degrees Celsius ( 107 degrees in old money ) my twin brother and I decided to drop into Museo De Jamon, been here before on previous holidays to Madrid ,always had a great time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this tavern ,the interior is superb ,glass counters showcase the goodies on offer ,wonderful decor and furnishings ,hanging hams suspended from the ceiling and lots of seating options ,it's just a great tavern to unwind in . We saddled up to the serving bar as this tavern was packed on our visit ,we ordered beers from El Aquila Brewery ( eagle beer ) and these were served iced cold and sparkling and accompanied with a bowl of cubed ham which were delicious and much appreciated,we chilled out and took in the great tavern we were in. A big fan of this beer ,it's a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and just so easy to drink ,when this beer is served iced cold as in Museo Del Jamon it's such a thirst quenching beer indeed, hardly surprising this place is so busy with beers of this quality. We really enjoyed our beers in here and our ham cubes before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Museo Del Jamon we had a great time. Museo Del Jamon is easy to locate along Carrera San Jeronimo,a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafés and restaurants. Opening hours are ; Monday to Sunday ,9am till midnight. Well worth checking out if you're in the Sol neighbourhood .

Good quality food and big portions.
It has very good food, the ham, paella, salad , calamari all taste good, inexpensive fit market price and very big portion, the best sangria I had on my 3 weeks European trip. It was busy twice we were there, so basically just eat and go, don’t expect Royal service or any romantic ambience. Though there was a band the 2nd time we were there. The price, food, ingredients and portions are ver good worth the money. There were many scallops and small seafoods were in the paella rice, not only on the top for eyes. That’s why we went back. The bus stop are just in front of the restaurant, very convenient if you know how to use public transportation.

    HAM, HAM, HAM
The decor is amazing, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious. That sums it up but let me say Jhoan was an excellent server who gave us great suggestions. We had a charcuterie of different hams and cheese that were all so tasty. The atmosphere was very fun. We sat upstairs some could chat.

    Not Actually a Museum!
At first we thought we were walking in circles because we same several of these storefronts throughout Madrid. This ubiquitous chain offers pork and ham-centric dishes from multiple locations through Madrid. They seemed to be almost everywhere we walked in the tourist areas ... we ended up walking in thinking it was an actual museum, but when we found out it was a restaurant, we left because we weren't hungry at that moment.

    A different Museum.
In a city that loves its Museums, here we have one to "ham." I restaurant chain in the city with several locations, we stopped at the one in the Plaza Mayor for a ham board. It was very nice, but a bit pricey for the amount served. We had better at other places, which for a place that is the Museum of Ham, was a bit surprising. They feature an off-sale butcher counter and are doing a brisk business, the place is lined with hams.

After visiting Museo del jam-on on Tuesday afternoon we paid Are bill that was about €55, we split the bill 3 ways €20 so we tipped them. As we were about to leave they came up to us to pay the same bill again. Definitely won’t be using this place again when I come to Madrid

My husband and me just arrived Madrid in the morning, after check-in we had a walk and bumped into this interesting place.
It's a lively and fun place, many locals.

Local already start to have a couple of beers that was 10am ^^”

Most of my time staying in Asian and Jamon IB. Bellota costs so much! But here , it is a paradise.

We had a huge plate of Acom Fed for just Euro14, that’s so so Cheap .

Very happy we had a tasty breakfast here, next time may come for afternoon tea meal XD

Terrible. The waiter served all the Spanish customers before us, even though we had arrived before them
He was offhand and rude
The jamon was ruined as it was cut very thick
We asked for olives, they didn't have any
We asked for olive oil, we were brought 2 sachets and charged for them, even though wed spent €30 9n the jamon.
Total tourist trap, don't go there!

Worst Madrid experience!!! We were looking forward to visiting this showcase of Spanish charcuterie but turned out to be a showcase of Madrid’s worst attitudes. The staff is rude and uncourteous, and with an attitude bordering misogyny; the “macho” culture from the staff and drunken patrons is uncomfortable, at least in this location. If you’re not a regular, good luck having someone explaining the menu, the portion sizes, or the place’s ways, that just won’t happen, you’ll just have to figure it all by yourself or even order blindly. There is no line or queue, the one who yells the louder at the bar is the one who gets served; some patrons will shamelessly step in front of you for ordering first or staffers can just simply ignore you for as long as they wish. And finally, the bars and areas for eating feel and look filthy; no one cleaning the tables or at least taking the dishes away. Sadly disappointing to say the least!!!

There are many outlets of Museo de Jamon in Madrid. The concept is the same. Cheap food and drinks while standing at the bar. A tapa with every beer. You have to speak some Spanish to get served, because there is hardly any English spoken.

Stopped at the Museo del Jamon in while in Madrid a couple weeks ago...had a Jamon Iberico sandwich and a cana. We discovered this place in Madrid 6 years ago, and it's still a great place!
