The palace is interesting but not that big so you can see this in around 90 minutes not counting the wait for tickets. They have a nice shop too.

For someone like me with an interest in Francisco Franco this is a must-see. As is known Franco made El Pardo his home and headquarters and ruled Spain with an iron hand for 36 years (1939-75) mostly from this palace. If you do the tour you will be shown the room where Franco chaired cabinet meetings, his office, his bedroom,... More

We were glad we visited this palace when we were in Madrid, but I guess we just expected more after reading about it in preparation for our trip. It could stand some work on it.

This place is where the royal family always been , it is a must to visit it .. Architecture here looks like the Versailles Palace . This place needs renovation in the external facade .

El Palacio Real de El Pardo is a must see during your visit to Spain. The works of art, paintings and silver are beautifully rendered and displayed. The palacio is beautifully maintained and worth a visit. Entrance fees apply.

Impressive building, well worth the tour from the sweeping grand staircase to the ornate 23 rooms on display. The Royal Armoury is fascinating and has a wonderful display of parade and tournament aRMOUR.

The Royal palace is one of the greatest things too see in Madrid. We can visit a few rooms of the palace and see a lot of things used by the Spanish Royal Family.

The palace itself is located in a small town on the outskirts of Madrid, a short, pleasant bus ride from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although the palace is of some architectural interest, and although there are works of art and other objects on site, there are constant reminders that this place served as the residence of General... The palace is very impressive and well worth both your time and your 10$ (we paid 5 with student card from israel) The palace is very pretty and the view from the court is amazing (we were there at sunset).
