For pensioners (65+) it was free. Not sure if others paid or not. This is about found artifacts and the importance of preserving these finds. There were many notes in English if not on all displays. Displays included small boats, jugs, coins, and other artifacts....More

An original museum, nice to visit and get informed about the science of archeology, as Cartagena is one remarkable place where this activity is held.

It was a fairly good museum but I felt like the main focus was for school kids. Nothing wrong with this but if you are not a kid you might want to go elsewhere.

If you want an interesting hour out of the heat this is an excellent choice, it is located about 200 metres to the right as you leave the port road.

What a nice little museum. It's great for children and adults and shows how archaeologists work with underwater sites to piece together history. Very interactive for children and gives new comers a grounding to the importance of Cartagena in the Mediterranean trade routes.

A small but very well laid out museum, free at the weekends! Lots of hands on stuff for the kids to do, well worth a visit!

You don’t need to be especially interested in maritime history to enjoy this excellent presentation of Cartagena and its relationship with the world of maritime trade and navigation over the centuries. Beautifully done, educational and a very enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.
