This is a ruined fortress that once formed part of the city defenses, situated above the old Town. The castle is set in the beautiful Torres Park. It is also a great viewpoint from which to look over the city & across the harbour.

We were just visiting Cartegena off a cruise ship, first place we went was the Castle. Was very interesting to visit - views from the grounds were very impressive.
