Lovely beach area and kept very clean.Lifeguard on duty all through the day. Tends to be quieter than the adjoining Levante beach.Watch out for the outdoor keep fit sessions on the boardwalks for those of us knocking on in years.Great idea.Lots of nice bars and cafes to visit along this stretch.

A very nice beach. At the Oldtown Benidorm end it has a hard gah wall that separates the promenade from the beach. This gives a fantastic sun trap for those close to the wall. You can really enjoy this location even in the winter months when the sun is shining. Also,at the old town end of the beach there is... More

The Poniente or old town beach is crescent shaped with a flat promenade and activities for all the family You have access to the beach via boardwalks which take you to the seas edge This area is very popular for walking along the promenade and has plenty of shops and bars to keep you amused You have the opportunity to... Took a wander down Poniente beach from the Old Town to the furthest point on the headland. Light years different to the British Square in Benidorm Lots of serenity and limited high rise apart from the monstrous Hotels Bali and Intempo Well worth the walk with many lo-key cafes and bars to rest in 😉 on the way back

Far more attractive and relaxing than Levante beach this beach is frequented by locals and is just a short walk from the old town.

We strolled along this beach, it is a much quieter end of Benidorm without the normall husstle and bustle and drunken people, a very pleasant walk

Poniente beach is so long and so clean. Admittedly we were here in February so don't know what it's like in Summer but I'm sure it's still well looked after.
