This is a rather long pier that enters the Mediterranean Sea and offers you very beautiful views. From place to place, there are benches for resting, so you can spend whole minutes admiring the sea. It should be appreciated that many people use the embankment to practice jogging. I recommend you to take a walk on this pier. It is wonderful in the morning, in the evening, but also at any time of the day

Good for a relaxing, or energetic, walk. Very popular with locals and tourists alike. Great views out to sea, to Mar Menor area in the distance, the marina at Torrevieja and the Salt Loading dock.

Such a lovely stroll and lovely sea air and views. We walk it’s length whenever we can. Can definitely recommend you visit. Easy parking and cheap at the marina and plenty of places to eat or drink.

Watch the world go by.

Very nice walk on the dyke especially in the evening at sunset.
Unfortunately, some wooden boards are so deteriorated that you have to be careful where you set foot. It is time for the municipality to do renovation work.
In some places, it doesn't really smell good.
Too bad, because when it is hot, you are well exposed to the wind and the views of the city, the port and the sea are superb.

Dique de Levante Breakwater is a main tourist attraction in Torrevieja. It's a nice 1,6 km walk to the lighthouse, you can bring along something to drink and there are nice pergolas for sitting down for a moment.

Near the Breakwater there's a great fairground with rides for both adults and children. The fun-fair opens at about 8 PM in the summer.

There's also market stalls near the Breakwater selling jewellery, T-shirts, toys and tourist nick-nacks.

A Superb walk out to sea on the breakwater. It's 1.5 km out and obviously the same back !. Great to take a slow stroll after dinner just as the sun is gong down and a little cooler, wouldn't fancy it in the heat of the day though. Definitely a must do when in Torrevieja

As we are having our annual pilgrimage to Torreivja, we always have a walk down the pier before going for a drink in one of the new bars around the new marina, on a glorious day like today (11th Oct) the walk is very enjoyable although it is quite long to the end and back, so we normally have a rest near the statue of "The Fishermans Wife". The pier is well maintained and a pleasure to walk along, if you wish, you can drive into the new marina and park all day for 1 euro, then start your walk from about half way down where there are steps up from the marina. Worth a walk and visit if you have never done it before.

This breakwater pier stretches some 1.5km so is a good constitutional. Once on there it is a flat walk being both pushchair & wheelchair friendly. A popular place to stretch your legs for visitors & residents, we know someone who jogs it 3 times each morning to start his day off. It can get windy but if weather is very hot this can be refreshing, there is seating & some shelters at points along it. You can also access it from part way along so can go down to marina area for a drink perhaps or come onto it from marina area after visiting there.

This wooden pier runs the (very long) length of the breakwater. There is a path of paving stone along the left hand side and wide wooden planks to the right of this. It must be about 1.5km in length. There is some wooden bench seating in a couple of points along the way that is also under cover. It is also to sit on the low concrete wall on the left hand side. The views from the walkway are out to sea, towards the marina and also back towards Torrevieja and along a section of rocky shoreline. The walkway is well maintained. I noticed that several of the planks had been replaced with new planks. Along the harbour side there is a quiet path/roadway below the walkway and along this road you will usually see fishermen casting out.
