Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had hired cycles to complete the whole length of Jardin del Turia, and my guide book said 'focused around a gorgeous ,twinkling lake, this landscaped park at the northern end of the Jardin del Turia....',so we cycled into this park. I feel the reviewers may have got carried away. It is nice and I feel we were the only tourists in the cafe, but I wouldn't suggest someone make a special effort to visit. Using bikes we found some of the paths were sort of railway sleepers with some of the pieces if wood rotting,so unsuitable for bikes. However if you do go there it is pleasant enough, and clearly popular with local families. The cafe was fine.

It’s a great green space beside the river. Its origins were as a Turia-side park and today it has lovely walks and pathways.
Many amenities are available, including those taking advantage of the waterways.

This lovely park is attached to the very western end of the old Turia river bed which is now parkland itself. It is wedged between the 2 parts of the Biopark and is free to enter .The bridge between the 2 parts of the Biopark spans across it halfway along .You can enter it from the Turia Gardens ( as the old river bed is now known as ), or from the road side. From the Turia end you first come to a big lake with ducks , and for pleasure it offers swan-shaped pedalos for hire. At the near end is a large grassy sloped area for picnics or relaxation . You can choose a variety of paths to go at different heights across this natural preserved habitat , and they're all bordered by natural stone walls . Follow them along to a "beach" with wooden seating area at the far end of the lake , and further up a small waterfall with a bridge across . The paths split to go onto a narrow peninsula which at the end has a "balcony" at height above the water , or along the edge to the very end where there is another "beach" with seating and a plateau projecting at height from the side wall . Water is fed across this to create another waterfall. This is a very peaceful area ideal for total relaxation .We spotted 2 turtles and some very large fish ( 2ft long + ) on our walk. , apart from a number of waterfowl . There is obvious pride in this park as there was no litter anywhere. A small but beautiful corner in the city .

We enjoyed a lovely bike ride yesterday that ended at the park. Stopping for a beer, we were charged €17 for 2 large (at €6 each) and 2 small (at €2.50) - if we’d known, we would asked for 2 smalls in a large glass! - appears that the waiter was making up the prices for tourists, no wonder it is so quiet, would not recommend - now sitting opposite iconic Valencia Cathedral sipping a large €3.90 beer (point made?)
