This place went far beyond our regular expectations. We were thinking of a small garden inside the city and what we got was an oasis with so much vegetation, pathways and tens of cats which meow in different ways and cuddle in lap.

Nice, well-organized but nothing special. If you have some free time you could spend it here, but there are much better free gardens in Valencia

Good place to visit, shaded on the hot summer day. Lots of interesting cactuses - types of plants. Unusual structures for inside plants and part of the garden with medicinal plants. Lovely place for quite walks.

A great place of peace and beauty in the middle of Valencia. Go and have your blood pressure lowered as you see incredible beauty.

We almost walked past this garden as it has an entrance resembling an office ! So glad we didn't as once you step inside it's as off you are miles away from the hum of the traffic and the hustle and bustle of the old town. Plenty of places to sit and relax and take in the vistas .. only... More

We like botanical gardens, so we take every chance to visit a new one: here in Valencia we entered a well-organized garden, but not a very interesting one. Maybe the reason is the this garden wasn't managed properly for several decades, and even its position well inside the urban context does not help: but the collections of plants, especially the... We went here on a hot afternoon, and were happy to find the place cooler than..well the city. It is located quite a walk away from the city center, but close to a subway station. You pay an entrance fee of 2,5 euros and you get a map of the garden to take with you. This helps you identify various... More

I'm glad I visited the jardin. I loved walking through the park and looking at the variety of species of trees from throughout the world. Plus, seeing many of the semi-feral cats amongst the plants was an added bonus!

As well documented by others this is an excellent garden in a city which has plenty of spaces to sit and enjoy life. i think it is worth noting that a ticket is for the day and we took advantage by leaving for lunch at the small restaurant nearly opposite "La Salaten" but be brave, they only speak spanish and...
