Verdaderamente horrible! Truly beneath every professionalsim

Seldom have I seen such a bad tourism office, both in terms of facilities and staff. The staff are ill informed and sometimes truly clueless. The mayor should intervene and reform the whole outfit, as Valencia derives quite a bit of its income from tourism.
Should the visitor be in need of help, I recommend using the tourism office at the airport. Nicer facilities, friendlier people.

Fallas tour

We were very exited to do the fallas tour. But in the end we were disappointed. We didn't visit the balcony from the townhall. The rest of the tour was very nice. Thank you Denise

Night buses
Aug 2016 • Couples
As we were staying in a hotel far from the city centre, we tried to get a piece of information about the buses routes and timetables but they HAD FINISHED them and wouldn't have them again until the following week.
We also asked about night buses and they told us that MAYBE there were only a few of them on friday and saturday and, IF THEY HAD EXISTED, they would have been active only beetween the seaside and the city centre.
A few days later we discovered by chance that night buses did exist and they travelled EVERY DAY and also beetween the city centre and the suburbs.

How can an information point not be informed about buses?

Small, unfriendly, pointless.
Oct 2015 • Couples
We popped here just after lunch and found that it was closed for siesta. I understand businesses closing, but a tourist information for TOURISTS that closes? Rediculous.

It's too small to fit more than two people in and when we went back a queue had formed. We waited half an hour before we decided to give up and get a map elsewhere. What's the point of a tourist info that can't help tourists? Any other we've been to has been great. This one, a big NO NO.

PS We only went to get the geocache hidden inside but decided it wasn't worth the wait.

Good Place to Get a Map of Valencia
Oct 2014 • Couples
The tourist office at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento is a good place to get a map of the city. The people working there are quite friendly. One can also get information about the major points of interest in the city.

Small but helpful
Sep 2014 • Couples
The Tourist Information is basically a desk in the Town Hall. The lady on duty was very helpful, but did not speak English, I speak Spanish so it wasn't, a problem, but non Spanish speakers might find it a bit daunting. They gave us a map and directions to our Hotel. Your hotel is probably the best place to ask for information, as some staff will speak English, and other languages to assist. Incidentally, the building is beautiful and worth a photo shoot.

Multi purpose

We came here both for information and geocaching purposes. We got tickets for the aquarium here, but had to wait in line about 10 minutes. The location is very nice and well worth a visit.

This Tourist Office is small, but conveniently located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento downtown. The people working there are quite friendly and helpful.
