The ceramics and porcelain industry figured prominently in Valencian history and this house holds an exhaustive collection ranging from the early medieval period to the 20th century. The rooms are decorated ornately and the house preserved lovingly and accurately reflects the period. We were pleasantly surprised to see this collection, having long admired the exterior of the building, a work of art in itself.

This is a most beautiful building inside and out. The exterior is a work of art in itself and the interior does not fall far behind. This is a nice museum with some beautiful exhibits. The porcelain on display is beautiful and the estate rooms are gorgeous. A visit will take from 45 to 60 min depending on your pace and interest. Entry fee is €3.00 sold onsite cash or credit card. Don’t miss I this one.

Magnificent and unique ornamentation decorates the facades, extraordinary in its detail and execution.

Opulence continues within. Luxurious rooms with exquisite décor and art work follow one after another. Thematic aspects include Chinese with its attractive figures and vases.

The Palace also happens to host the Ceramics Museum.

We visited on Palm Sunday and were surprised to find it was free!

Take time to admire the exterior either before or after your visit, architecturally it is magnificent.
The building dates back to 1740 and inside there is a large collection of ceramic pieces including a couple of extraordinary tiled ceilings.
Alongside this there is some fine antique furniture, beautiful vases and ornate rooms to explore. Sometimes even the smallest of decorations catch my attention as happened here.

Definitely worth a visit.

A friend and I tried to visit this place. Although there was no-one else waiting to buy a ticket, the guy in the ticket office refused to serve us because he was busy staring at his computer screen. After waiting ten minutes, we left. We came back later and he refused to give us the free ticket to which over-65 year olds are entitled, because we did not have "identification" on us. We are both 74 years old. We left again and probably won't go back.

The inside is breathtaking. I think you can easily stay 2 hours here.
The exhibition of Luis Massoni was also incredible. I had the chance to see him giving a private tour, and explaining his own art process so that was amazing.

The actual palace was stunning and the decor needed to be seen to be believed. Every room of this extraordinary palace was designed beautifully in every detail. There was an entry fee, but this had to be paid in cash, which was a shame. The ceramics were second best - it was the palace that stunned.

I was told to visit the ceramic museum. I almost missed it because I expected it to be a collection of china and the like... I went because it was free on Saturday afternoon and was blown away by the beauty of this palace--the decor was sublime. If you enjoy beautiful homes, do not leave Valencia without stopping by.

Marvelous baroque palace and at the same time the national ceramics museum. Don't let yourself be discouraged by the Churrigueresque main entrance. House and exhibits are truly outstanding. A "must" when in Valencia (after the other nteen musts).

This museum is definitely one of the highlights of Valencia.
Beautiful and unique building from outside , equally beautiful inside.
It hits a great collection of ceramics , but not only. As it is a real palacio with masterpieces of Spanish art and handcrafts. Definitely a memorable visit.
