The Metro de Valencia is a very efficient service with spotless trams that run under ground and over the ground too. It is very easy to use and covers a lot of the city - a good way to get close to the beach.

The metro and associated tram lines are very modern and clean, though as most of the sights are in the old city we only needed it to go to the beach and to go to the airport, therefore we paid for individual journeys. You have to buy a ticket first for 1 euro, which you than charge and recharge with... More

We used the metro/underground to visit the beach whilst we were on a visit to watch the motogp. We were staying near the cathedral in the old town and took a short walk to the nearest station and in total it cost 4 of us €8.20 return to cover a distance of a 2 hour walk one way or a... More

Easy to use, you buy a card with a number of trips and can use this to get around most of Valencia. We used the metro to get around and took short walks to all of our destinations here. cheaper than the bus and taxi there

My wife, daughter and I used the metro to and from the airport and we also traveled out to Lliria. We bought a bono metro card which has ten journeys on it. It initially costs €21 euro for an all zones ticket and when you recharge it is €20. You only need 1 ticket as it will cover everyone in... More

The metro in Valencia has 9 lines, of whom 2 are tram lines. The trains are very clean, and mostly there is enough capacity. Most points of interest can be reached by metro or tram. Just when you want to visit the City of Science and Arts the bus is more advisable. Mind that the metro closes just around 23:00... More

My wife and I used the metro to travel between the airport and our hotel. it was easy to use and the trains and stations were very clean. The trains were generally fairly frequent, at least one every 10-20 minutes, depending on the line. We bought a T3 ticket which gave us unlimited travel for 3 days in Zone A,... More

We took the Metro out to the Lladro factory. We bought tickets from the vending machine without difficulty.

I use the metro daily in the 1 month i've been in Valencia. It's always reliable with frequent trains. It's very cheap, just 8.20 euros for a 10 ride in zone A. I've just discovered, you can reload the 10 ride and save a euro, so just 7.20. Only shortcoming is that you cannot transfer to buses - you must... More

Normally have a transfer from the airport to our hotels, but this our first visit to Valencia, we chose the metro. Only downside was the escalator from the arrivals hall down to the metro was not working, so took the lift down. The were two ticket machines and someone to help or alternatively a cash desk. The man here was... More
