We popped in here on a way from the Central Market and we're glad we did. There's not too much to see but the old silk trading hall, with its twisted columns, impressive floor and high ceilings is breathtaking as is the wooden ceiling in the adjoining room.

Very interesting building, where many years ago there was the 'silk auction place'. They also had a court for incorrect merchants. Do visit it.

We visited because we like to visit heritage sites. Lots of history happened in these walls. Definitely worth a visit. Take a closer look at the ornaments ;)

It is the most important monument of the city and a masterpiece of Gothic architectural style. The building was declared a UNESCO heritage.

This building looks normal and nice but you will find a lot of unusual things if you watch the details closely. The decoration all over the building signifies subjects of taboo like homosexuality in the past. It is funny enough that the building is so close to a church. I highly recommend visiting this building with a tourist guide!

Got here on a day that entry was free so only paid 3 Euro for the audio tour. Very impressive place with a very nice tour of both the interior and exterior. Lots of history, architecture and cloture. Plan for about 30-45 min. Both indoor and outdoor so good for both rainy or sunny weather.

The place is a quiet oase in the middle of a very buy district which stays in strong contrast but is perfect for a short break of the heat and loudy noices of Valencia. The hall with pillars in the shape of palms are really fascinating!
