This UNESCO World Heritage site is close to the central market and well worth a visit. There is lots of history here in the lovely building built in the 1500's and originally used for silk traders. The Gothic style is very impressive. I particularly liked the huge pillars.

The gargoyles are very unique - be sure to look up! The masterful blend of Moorish and Spanish design is everywhere from ceiling to floor. Spectacular, appropriate restoration of a lovely site.

This is a great way to spend and hour or so when you are in the area, and I think it was only a few euro admission. The video at the beginning gives a history of the buildings, and then you can spend as little or as much time seeing the site. Close to the Mercado and many restaurants, so... More

Well worth a visit. Unfortunately the day I visited the spiral staircase and upper rooms were out of bounds due to refurbishment.

Considered to be the most emblematic building from the Valencian civil gothic style. It is not that large and it is only 2 euros to gain admittance. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Monument . A must see !!.

We used the audioguide and found this building to be fascinating and beautiful. If you like gargoyles, this building is an incredible photo op for you. The interior is an interesting and beautiful combination of styles and construction techniques

A fantastic historic building to visit, only 2 euros each. Fantastic architecture to see. Shame they don't give out a lot more information on things that happened there.

This goes together well with Mercado Central, but this one is also an Unesco monument. There are 6-7 spaces to visit and since there are not many exhibits, the architecture and the building decorations are the things to watch out for. If you know the history of the place and imagine how the silk trade happened, the charm is obviously... More

It's an ancient palace with amazing decorations. The main room is very big and the ceiling is interesting because in the past the room was used for silk commerce and it was blue with round decoration which represented bows and they're still visible today. The yard is really beautiful so I suggest you to have a walk there !
