Fun museum dedicated to was statues built for the annual Falles festival.
This museum specializes in the lifelike wax statues (ninots) built each year for the falles festival in March. Most of these statues are burned on the last day of the festival but two of the best are pardoned from the fire and displayed at this museum. Entry is very inexpensive and the ninots are impressive. This museum is within walking distance of the City of Arts and Sciences so can be combined in one trip.

    Fun and interesting!!
The sculptures are incredible! It is hard to imagine they start from styrofoam and wood. All the exhibits are winners over the years. They have smaller exhibits upstairs and on the walls the posters from years past. This is a definite go see, it is very worthwhile. Fun and interesting!!

    Stunning displays
This is an amazing museum. The models on display, dating back to 1934, are incredible, intricate and thought-provoking. The information about each is in multiple languages, and gives the background to the person or issues the models depict. Well worth the miniscule entrance fee (€1 for OAPs!). I would recommend the Museum to anybody who visits this amazing city.

Closed on Mondays, along with Serrano Towers & Silk Museum. Unfortunately my visit to Valencia fell on a Monday, so quite disappointed that I was unable to visit some of the most important attractions in the city. Hopefully this info will help others better plan their visit to this amazing place.

From a foreigner's perspective, it's a small yet incredibly fascinating and educational museum. The location is good, close to the Oceanografic.

This is an interesting museum dedicated to the Fallas Festival. An intriguing celebration, taking place each March in Valencia. The figures are amazing creations, the museum displays pieces from each year from 1935 onward. Entry on Sunday was free, please note it closes at 13.15pm on Sunday. I definately recommend a visit if you wish to delve into this part of Valencian culture.

From the outside this museum doesn’t look that inviting or particularly big, however go inside and providing you can envelop the joy of the Falas you will be pleasantly surprised.

This museum represents an essential part of Valencian culture, featuring life-size figurines made of cardboard, wood, and plaster. This art form dates back to the 1930’s and the museum displays some of the best pieces,.
As an amateur, in terms of understanding this yearly festival, I was drawn in by the beautiful, ornate figurines. Displayed in chronological order it was fascinating to see how the craft has developed over the nearly 100 years since it’s creation.

I came away wanting to visit next years festival

We hurried directly from the airport to catch this museum open, as it was Sunday and the last entry was at 13.15. It's closed on Monday, Tuesday morning we left Valencia so it was our only chance. Due to trafic we arrived at 13.21, so were late 6 minutes. We asked the stuff through the closed gates to let us in, be flexibile but were coldly refused. We understand they just wanted to close and go home, but "We are sorry " and a smiley would have been more ok, more profesional. We were not beggars at their gate, but tourist who wanted to visit the museum. So, totally unfriendly. Our kids were a little dissapointed, but we had a great time în other place în Valencia to compensate.

Decent museum that shows the surviving creations from the yearly Faller. It's cheap to visit just 2€ and an OK way to spend an hour in Valencia.
