Whoever had the idea to convert a river bed into a park was truly inspired. It's a fantastic place. We hired bikes and cycled from one end to the other, and then down to the beach. The cycle paths are so smooth and there are lovely cafes dotted along the way. Fully recommend spending a day or two cycling in... More

The old riverbed of the diverted Rio Turia has been beautifully converted into a multi-recreational public park, and it is perhaps the apsect of the city that most Valencians are justifiably proud of. Every sporting interest is catered for, as well as formal gardens, venues and casual spaces for picnics and barbecues. Many bridges old and new still run across... More

i visited the green area 3 times and it was always very nice to see the people relaxing, doing sports, go biking, and sitting around. this area is very important for the live quality in valencia. it was a good decision after the flood disaster in 1957 to convert this area in a green wonder

It cuts through the entire city offering lots of green space that is very accessible city wide and is a great way to travel through the city by foot or bike. There are many parks, sports facilities, paths... I use go there very... More

It is a really huge park with beautiful trees but it had several mud ponds on the way. Also sometimes they close some parts of it to cut some trees

I often say the thing that lets a lot of European cities down is the lack of good quality parks. What was the Rio Turia in Valencia has to be the ultimate exception. We spent a whole day walking from the western end to the eastern end (the oceanographic) star to finish with the kids. Not one complaint from them... More

Great way to travel and relax inside the city with very good accessibility to public transport. Route from classical Jardin del Real to the futuristic Museu Pricipe Felipe is very good. We saw groups of parrots.
