Must see, wear sunscreen, the movie was ok, restaurant was ok.
It is beautiful. My recommendation is to arrive early my scheduel was : Arrive 10 am. visit the first part of the aquarium. Go to the dolphins ealry a grab a good spot. Dolphin show 1145 after get a bite visit the beluga or the Igloo. 1pm lunch reservation at the fancy restaurant. It is beautiful since you have literaly aquarium and watching the fish while you dine is a unique experience. The food was OK. You really pay for the view. Te people are the nices you can imagine. I called to see if the paella valenciana had sea food and got an email with the answer (no). Awesome since my wife is allergic so we had that dish. Waiters could not be nicer and are poliglots. I heard him speak at least three languages. 3 pm visit the remainde part of the aquairium and head to the movie. 4 pm movie 4d it was kind of cute . .. we went to this one because it worked for our schedule. 430 visit the pending exhibits: sharks and crocs. then leave. At thispoint i heard the the dolphon show was over booked so if you went for the afgternoon show make sure you take plenty of time.

    Exceptional aquarium in every way
This was a fantastic experience for all of us. It is a fantastically organised and set up place that is so well organised and run. Moving through even with a buggy was such an ease at all times. The dolphin show was just brilliant with great educational aspects for all.

See it in two visits not one!
I was amazed at the size of this aquarium. It is massive so do take your sun block, and good walking shoes and a huge hat for the summer heat! I liked the different areas especially the one depicting the Arctic and how snow was introduced to keep the penguins cool. I would definitely visit Oceanografic again. I did not see any of the shows but the aquarium itself was very informative and even four hours was not enough to see everything. I recommend making two visits to see it all

    Absolute must-see!!
This is a must-see if you’re in Valencia! Definitely buy your tickets online to avoid queues (we walked right in, even getting there about half hour before our ticket time). Bring plenty of water and sunscreen, as the site is massive, and several attractions are outside. As others have mentioned, the dolphin show was interesting and fun - get there 30 minutes early if you want a seat in the shade! The penguins and seals were my favorites - they were so active and playful!

    Great day out
Paid for this in advance for a day out, well worth the money need a day here to get round and see everything. Well sign posted to each area which was good and easy to understand. 1 negative feedback the dolphin 🐬 show as much as it was good and had some understanding of what was going on it would have been good if the staff had spoke English throughout not Spanish as I expect that not everyone was from Spain Good day out yes, we we go again most likely. Staff were friendly and helpful and place was clean food was too expensive either.

A good day for young families.
Visited with two young children, spent just over 5 hours there and had a wonderful time. Saw lots of animals and felt they all appeared to be well looked after. The dolphin show was a highlight - but get a seat in plenty of time! The arena is huge but fills up! We also enjoyed walking through the tunnels under the larger tanks and spotting turtles. We bought our tickets as a bundle with the Science Museum (also enjoyed) and felt it was worth the money spent. You are not allowed to take picnics in, and although we didn't buy any meals there (just ice cream) we didn't think it looked any pricier than the fast food in similar attractions. I would give it 5/5 if they had a picnic area and allowed you to take picnics in, as I feel it is a bit harsh to expect you to spend a whole day there, pay for entry and then buy your meals as well.

    Love the Beluga whales
Visited with some trepidation that it might not be worth the entrance fee. Apparently the largest aquarium in Europe and had a great day. Highlights were the Beluga whales, the dolphins and the penguins. Well laid out with audio guides in English. A good film in English on the Australian see creatures which was interactive. Did not see the main shark experience as the queue was very long and the crocodiles were nowhere to be seen as it was breeding season. Really enjoyed the day and the food outlets were better that normal in a tourist destination and reasonably priced.

    Great aquarium
Great park, well organised and attractive landscaping. I had read reviews that it’s a lot of walking in the heat but was pleasantly surprised by the amount of shade. We’ve visited several aquariums and loved this one. We allowed 3 hours and took our own sandwiches and water. We also bought drinks which were reasonably priced.

Great day out with the dolphin show!
Great visit!!! Not sure you feel that it's so different from an aquarium in your home country but for us the dolphin show made the day a special one. The whole family absolutely loved the dolphin show. We booked 10am entrance tickets and got there at 10:15- waited around 5 mins in a queue. It was August so very busy but didn't feel overcrowded. We got to the dolphin show half an hour early because I read reviews about catching a good seat and being in the shade. For the 11:15am show almost all the seating was shaded. The show was really impressive. The rest of the aquarium is great and plenty inside so we didn't feel we were boiling from the heat. We took a picnic lunch that we discretely ate on a bench as there were many signs saying no picnic but that might have been only at the tables designated to the various cafes dotted around. We parked for free a 7 minute walk away on the road of the aquarium. Great day- well worth going.

A must see when in Valencia.
We visited here on our final day in Valencia and we were sorry we hadn't gone there earlier for a full day. So much to see and I can say one would need a full day to see everything. Everything is well laid out and well signposted. We ate in a lovely restaurant and had gourmet hamburgers with chips. Delicious and did not have a long wait. The Dolphin area and show topped off a most enjoyable few hours for us.

We visited here with a guide from our cruise. We arrived at opening. It was very crowded, but the line moved quickly. Although the facility is very large, over 100,000 sq meters it was crowded inside buildings.
The facility boasts more than 45,000 animals within the various displays. The areas are set into various sections based on environment - Mediterranean, Wetland, Artic, Antarctic, Tropical, etc. There are indoor and outdoor exhibits. We enjoyed the various ducks and water birds included outdoors.
The inside exhibits were very busy. We wore masks inside because it was so crowded. At many of the displays it was difficult to get close to the tanks.
We went to the dolphin show. We were warned to go early to get seats. The arena has concrete seating with each spot marked. There are no backs to the seating, but handrails are provided as you climb steps. There were accessible areas for wheelchairs. A jumbotron is at the front to assist with see the action near the performers.
The park boosts its research and ethical treatment of all the animals. I'm no expert on that. The park was clean and seemed well maintained.
There were gift shops, restaurants and lots of restrooms. I can't speak to parking. Apparently, there are lockers, but we didn't use them. The web page has park rules so you can check that before going.

Beluga whales are sea puppies and there’s no telling me otherwise: they win.

The facility itself was nice if not entirely dynamic. My headset didn’t work and I wasn’t offered a refund or another just a quick apology.

One star is solely due to the captivity of dolphins and beluga. Although i am against holding these large, intellegent creatures in small tanks, I talked myself into thinking it may not be as bad as I thought.

The dolphinarium was awful. Dolphins that can swim 80 miles a day, swimming circles in tiny pools. I went in jus to look before the "presentation", thinking it may be an educational presentation. It was clearly an entertainment show. A crowd forming was clapping and chanting, and staff were doing nothing to quiet them. I couldn't have stayed.

The belugas were beautiful,.. and swimming circles over and over.

So while the rest is educational and beautifully presented, with large aquariums, and I'd rate 4 or 5 star,.. It has to be 1.

Terribly sad experience. The cages are so small and have far too many fish in them. Very cruel. A very sad experience . They should not be allowed to be an aquarium

Probably the most to see at any aquarium I have visited. An incredible amount of large tanks to occupy you for hours. Jellyfish are mesmerising, sealions great to watch, as are the larger fish and those shoaling in a ball.

Had intended a 5 star review, but on reflection some downsides. Though interesting to see beluga, their area feels on the small side relative to their size. And is selling drinks in plastics inconsistent with eco message?

Also, this place gets very busy, and though it remains bearable, it could be xhallenging to keep track.of your children.

Basically, masses to see and wll-landscaped but couple of ethica questions and visiting at a quiet time would make it even more impressive.

Very cool. Lots of sea animals in very nice surroundings. I’ve heard that it gets extremely busy later in the season. I don’t think I would have thought it worth the cost if it would have been much busier, having been to the Newport Aquarium in Oregon and Sea World in Florida, but fun in later May

Marvellous tanks for aquarium fish but not if you’re a whale or a dolphin. The Beluga whale has nothing in its tank but water, no plants or proper places to rest. The dolphins are held in small pools, spending most of their time gnawing at the gates. The penguins have a small strip to stand on and not much water to swim in.

The buildings are beautiful but have more room inside for people than the animals they are holding.

If you are a true aquatic lover, don’t go is my advice

A wonderful place with lots of information and education. So many sea creatures. Large tanks and tunnels to walk through. The outside is also great with lots of other animals to see. The aviary was amazing. Definitely one on the to do list if your are in Valencia.

Do you want my honest opinion on this? Then my advice is definitely not to spend this money on this park. I was drawn by the title "largest aquarium in Europe." However true this may be, it was terrible. The park was overcrowded. There were far too many people everywhere. Additionally, the aquariums themselves are not very special. I saw a Beluga... but it was really in a much too small enclosure when you know they swim through the Arctic.

My tip: invest your 37 euros elsewhere.
