We were staying high above the town of Amalfi and didn't want to take the bus or descend 700 stairs for dinner. So we took the recommendations of some Scottish travelers we had met and walked 10 minutes up the hill to Pogerola to Gerry's Pub. Quite honestly we didn't expect much.....goodness were we surprised! What a find! Upon entering,... More

My (new!) husband and I first met Gerry in 2011 when we stayed in Pogerola for a week. We got engaged last year & wanted to get married in Amalfi & Gerry helped us to make it happen! After getting married in the Amalfi Arsenali (a beautiful venue suggested by Gerry), 34 of us went to Gerry's Pub for our... More

We went here on the first night of our honeymoon after a warm welcome from Gerry in the street outside the pub. We were promisedvif we didn't enjoy it we'd get our money back so we thought we'd give it a go! After telling Gerry it was our honeymoon he gave us two glasses of prosecco on the house (thanks... My husband and I were staying in Contursi Terme, a remote village south east of Naples. We wanted to watch the Man United v Liverpool football match on television but could not find anywhere local to where we were staying. After an extensive search for a sports bar we found Gerry's Pub on the Trip Advisor site and having read... More

Spent 11 nights at the Grand Hotel Excelsior and ventured up to Gerry's Pub most days!! It is run by Gerry and his sister who are two of the most friendliest people I have ever met. They were very welcoming and the food was amazing, especially the Margarita Pizza which my son ate at each visit! The food was mainly... More

We came to this place solely because of the recommendations from TripAdvisor. We do not understand how this place can be rated as high as it is. The owner really is nice, but this does not make up for few people, no music and at best ok (and in our opinion Amercianized) food. We have been travellig around the Amalfi... More

We came here based on the reviews we saw about this place. Arrived at about 7 pm and there were NO customers in sight. Warning one. We sat down to a beautiful view after passing a cafe nearby that was busy. Had to wait for the tablecloth to be laid as if he wasn't expecting anyone. Food was average at... More
