Photos outside are stunning, especially in the afternoon Sun, but obviously such a location is crawling with tourists. Inside the museum of the crypt, cloister and Duomo are many interesting artefacts even if you are not religious. Maybe worth mentioning that beach wear, or certainly...More

Stayed one night in Amalfi and decided to visit the Duomo. They charge a small entrance fee, which is worth the visit. It’s beautiful and peaceful and has some interesting artifacts as well as nice frescos. Can recommend.

For only 6€ to go in, this is a must see while in Amalfi. It is beautifully adorned and worth 30 mins of your time to explore and see the time/effort put into this cathedral.

It’s worth climbing the steps for a view of the square before entering the Duomo. Inside is cool and peaceful

Sitting in a prominent position you cannot miss the church with the imposing steps taking you up to the main entrance. €3 to get in and beautiful with stunning views both inside and out. Make sure you don’t miss.

We didn’t enter the Duomo as I’d read that the exterior is the most remarkable part. It is really beautiful! A real centre of activity in Amalfi and, during our 10-day stay in Amalfi, we witnessed weddings, orchestras, a brass band etc from the stairs....More

This church is a landmark in Amalfi, starting with the magnificent steps leading up to the Duomo and then the beautiful interior. Worth visiting.

Hi I don't believe so. It's the sort of thing we would have done had we been able to and I can't find anything looking back in the leaflets we picked up to indicate that you can. It's a shame as I'm sure the view would have... More
