We wanted a special family trip sailing and fishing. I got email with no problem and pricing. We were so excited to sail the Amalfi Coast. Boat was ran down. Zero sailing. Captain said not enough crew to sail. Only motor. 3 of us on board were expert sailer. Motor broke down to many times to count. Fishing, captain said not on this trip. When we went ashore to eat (because promised meal and drinks (only water) was for crew only). One time we came back early and the crew (boyfriend and girlfriend) were having sex. Not cool. All the ports we agreed on ahead captain said we had to keep going back to same one. Soon found out why. All his friends live in that city. We couldn’t sleep because he thought party every night with booze and marijuana till late night. One group on board rented hotels every night because they had kids under 10 yrs old. NEVER NEVER NEVER HAD WE SEEN A COMPANY RUN THIS WAY. WHEN WE INFORMED OWNER THEY SAID WE WERE LYING. Beware boat pictures must be when they first got it. One toilet didn’t work. Hard with crew and 7 guests (or should I say hostages).

We were a family of 6 (2 teenager+ 2 young children) spending a couple of days in Salerno before moving to Rome. We were just looking for a boat tour but what we found was far beyond our expectations! We ended up spending 2 nights and 3 days in a very safe setting, sleeping onboard a beautiful sailboat docked in Salerno and spending our days fishing, kayaking, sailing along the amazing Amalfi Coast...Our kids had a lot of fun and we as parents found the perfect balance for our holiday which is not very easy when planning a trip aboroad with kids. Every activity was planned accordingly to our wishes and the Amalfi on Boat crew was able to organize an amazing weekend for our family. They also organized a trip by minivan to Pompeii which was a fantastic experience for our kids. The pier where the boats are docked has all the facilities (included a beautiful cafe) and an amazing view of Salerno which is a perfect spot to travel from , very close to Naples Paestum and also the Amalfi Coast was just a few minutes cruising away. We were definitely spoiled and ended up feeling like a part of the family. Really, this was by far the highlight of our trip in Italy and we hope to come back very soon! Well done Ambra & team! Grazi!

We were told we would be on the boat for 4 hours. Our captain didn't speak English and brought us back almost two hours early. Ambra was gone when we returned so I emailed her and ask her to refund us for the hours we did not receive. She refused. On top of the loss of time our captain didn't provide the promised fruit. He ate his lunch and smoked a cigarette. The boat was old and uncomfortable and we only stopped once to swim as we were out of time. Look for other companies. Not impressed with this one. This was her email telling me what we were paying for most of which we did not receive. The tour includes: - Departing around 2 pm from Salerno - Cruising slowly along the Coast towards Amalfi and Conca dei Marini with stops for swimming in some of the best spots . We will pass by the beautiful villages of Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Erchie, Maiori, Minori, Atrani, Amalfi and Conca dei Marini - Drop off around 6 pm (or whenever you need to come back to the cruise ship) What's included: - licenced captains - beach towels - water, fruit - fuel, insurance and taxes

We stayed onboard the 3 double bedroom, 2 bathroom sailboat for 4 nights. As a family of four with 2 children aged 14 and 12 this was perfect as they had their own double cabin each. Breakfast was a pastry and drink at the bar just 25m away at the end of the pier and adequate. We brought it back to the boat a couple of mornings to sit onboard, as couldn’t have a better setting. Great location for getting the ferry to Capri etc, just 5 min walk away which was appreciated with an early ferry. 15 min walk to the Centro Storico for the many restaurants and bars. We’d recommend Pazza Marea and La Botte Pazza, sister restaurants, one seafood and one meat. Free unlimited water and wine!! And fantastic food. All in all a fantastic 4 days which we will remember for a long time after the sea legs have gone.

We spent one full day sailing from Salerno on the Amalfi coast and it was incredible. Everything from the boat, the skipper, the special guide (Ambra) and the places we visited (including the lunch) was perfect. We were a group of 4 friends and we really enjoyed a very special day :) Looking forward to coming back!
