Great Bar in the Heart of Sorrento

While walking around Sorrento me and my friends stumbled across this bar and were glad we did. We had a great time here and the staff was amazing!

We first visited this bar back in the 90s and continued to return yearly until 13 years ago. Last month whilst on a cruise, we popped back in to see our friends Louigi, Livia and their daughter Francesca and we could not have been made to feel more welcome. They greeted us like long lost family and we are so... More

We enjoyed our evening visits to this family run bar, which was situated close to our hotel. There is an excellent choice of drinks and the sports events on several tv screens around the Banana Split made it a popular venue. We visited in June when the Euro football and Wimbledon was on. We really felt that the owners were... More

Maybe 5 minutes or so from Tasso square on the Corsa Italia. Like many people we tend to go here every night of our holiday and there is either good music... More

Lovely friendly bar showing football on screens inside and outside, by the side of a busy road but great service and good atmosphere. Great if staying at Grand Flora Hotel as only 2 minutes walk. Would recommend to all visiting the area

A lovely little place. Only snack menu available when we visited but the toasted sandwiches were delicious and the staff couldn't be more helpful. They were really accommodating when we told them that one of us had a peanut allergy. The pastries served with the sandwiches were delicious. The down side is that the road is soooo busy and noisy.... More

Not long back from three weeks travelling around Italy. Was recommended to visit Banana Split in Sorrento by out daughter Kari. So glad we did, we were given a very warm welcome by Luigi and his wife and had a wonderful meal at lunchtime. Unfortunately we couldn't go back in the evening as we were leaving the next day. Keith... More
