Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Paid 20 euros to visit the Andy Warhol exhibition, which was well organised, and the ticket represented good value. I’m not a big fan of pop art and wish I’d found the music box room sooner as the gallery was closing our visit was cut short.

Also visited the previous evening for a Jazz concert featuring “The Enrico Valanzuolo Trio” and a another solo singer “Karima”, which were both excellent. Would visit again and would recommend.

Beautiful Villa in the centre of Sorrento that is now used as an exhibition gallery.
Lovely outside garden space to sit and relax for free.

Our 5euro visit gave the opportunity to learn about the style of E Marinella ties which was fascinating and also on the top floor a wonderful exhibit of old beautifully made music boxes.

Simply marvelous. Wonderful staff and the view and setting are just beautiful. Loved our morning breakfast on the deck and especially enjoyed the pool at sunset with Prosecco. 10 minute walk to beach/town. Know there are a number of stairs to reach rooms. Perfect location for day trippers to Pompeii, Capri, Amalfi coast. Simple Italian style rooms. Clean.

Staying in Sorrento, then I highly recommend purchasing tickets for this concert to complete your Italian experience. The concert is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting at 9pm.

We purchased our tickets from their website and had no idea what to expect. We arrived at the villa, walked into the main entrance and greeted by one of the artists and shown through to our seats at the back of the villa. It’s a covered area, open on the left side overlooking the garden. It’s a small area, seating probably about 70 people, so recommend buying your tickets in advance.

The artists walked onto the stage. We sat there in the third row as the pianist started playing and then the female opera singer started and quite frankly she blew us away!!!

What an amazing singer. Her voice set the scene for the rest of the evening. Soon joined on the stage by her male colleague and the two of them worked through a number of Italian classics. Both singers were of a very high standard.

In the second half of the concert, the humor of the two artists really came through and they invited four members of the audience on to the stage to take part dancing to one of the songs.

We had such a fantastic time and would not have missed it for the world. Here are some photos taken last night. Hope you have the opportunity to be there to see for yourself

It is at the western end of Corso Italia, which is the quieter, less trafficked area. It is a beautiful palazzo which houses exhibits. The gardens are free to visit.

We went to see a Henry Matisse exhibition and hide from the rain, and it was a thing to remember! Oh, and please do check the musical machines, latternas, phonographs collection downstairs - it';s thrilling!
