We are pleasant to give you the information from you required about the activities of our Cooking School. The staff are incredibly friendly. However, this was my second time cooking in Italy, and this was not really cooking. It was more placing stuff on a plate, cutting and minimal prep. Most of the ingredients are prepared so you do not how the tomato sauce was prepared. We made eggplant parmigiana and cut the eggplant, fried it, and stuffed it with already prepared cheese, tomato sauce and basil leaves. We do not know how long it was baked for and temperature and how cheese prepared. Caprese salad was simply cutting cheese and tomatoes and placing it. The only real thing we learned was how to prepare dough for the ravioli. Do not know how the cheese was prepared or the tomato sauce that was served with it. The Tiramisu is not your typical it is spooning marscapone and putting lady fingers in a glass and pouring lemonicello on it. How was the marscapone prepared or the lemonicello? If you want to have fun then a definite but if you really want to learn, this is not the class for you. It is outside.

We went here with our two grandchildren aged 8 and 10. The pick up by Luigi from Sorrento central made the trip feasible as it’s a bit outside the city. You make a dough base but add tomato/ cheese etc to ‘one they made earlier’ which in our case was just as well! The quality of the base is exceptional. It was great to put them in the furness oven and then eat We then were shown how to make Tiramisu - not my favourite guy definitely the best I’ve tasted.
The team are passionate about authenticity and ingredients but still make it fun. Highly recommended.

I visited Sorrento in October, and decided last minute that we wanted to do a cooking class, Laura was wonderful in communicating, i had requested to learn to make a local specialty pasta dish and also italian tomatoe sauce,
On the day Luigi picked us up from the train station, arrived at the cooking school with a warm welcome from Lucia n Laura our chefs for the day, we did olive oil tasting, and then wine was poured and so the class began!
Both lucia and Laura was fun and patient, took us step by step, even showed us how to can tomatoe sauce the way Italians do every year to preserve tomatoe for winter use, lunch was fruits of our labour and it tasted amazing, i fully recommend this place, is a day im going to remember for a long time, and i will be back next time i come to Sorrento!

After being picked up at our hotel we were taken up to the lovely restaurant Tirabuscio in Sorrento. On arrival we were given a glass of prosecco and met our lovely hosts Laura and Luigi. With Laura’s help we made fresh pasta Caprese Ravioli and Parmigiana. The best part was sampling what we had made with a nice glass of wine. Delizio. I would highly recommend this experience. Great way to spend a day in Sorrento. Thank You Laura and luigi

This was one of the higlights of our stay in Sorrento! We had a great time learning how to cook fish, clams, and gnocchi. Laura and Lucia were amazingly helpful, courteous, and so much fun. Highly recommend going there.

After reading the good reviews we were really looking forward to the pizza making class. We wish we hadn’t have bothered. The host was an hour late meeting us at the train station and didn’t make an effort to let us know he was running late. We tried calling and messaging while waiting and after half an hour we got a reply saying they were going to be 10 mins, they were in fact another half an hour!
We weren’t greeted with Prosecco or local oils to try like on the description.
The actual class was extremely disorganised and we had no instruction what was happening and when.
It wasn’t worth the money or time.
We are not normally ones to complain but I feel it needs an honest review and cannot I understand how it has so many good reviews??
The only good thing about it was the taste of the actual pizza!
We feel very disappointed with the day

our friends &'I were picked up at hotel & taken to this lovely Italian restaurant in the hills of Sorrento .We started off with bruschetta & getting to know our fellow would be chefs !We made Aubergine parmaniga & while it was cooking our lovely host Laura helped everyone make fresh pasta ravioli. My husband who is not a keen cook had the best day & learned a new skill .Maybe it was the wine that was flowing that helped lol. Laura made all the dishes we made look easy & made the day fun .We finished the day with their homemade limoncello yummy! They make their own olive oil too. A great way to spend a day

We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the restaurant which was above Sorrento. It was rustic and extremely clean. Wine and bruschetta on arrival. We tasted different flavour olive oils, the lemon one is fab. We made caprese salad, ravioli, aubergine parmigiana and delizia al limone. It was both informative and fun and ran at our own pace. We ate all the things we made, so don’t eat before you go! After cooking we got to sample limoncello and learned how it is produced. An excellent way to spend a few hours and learn a lot!
They also did a pizza making experience, which would really appeal to children.
