Superb tranquil oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento town. The quiet wedding atmosphere was wonderful ... musicians good ... accessibility was great. Within walking distance to reception venue ... perfect. Loved it ... a civil ceremony in Nature’s Cathedral.

We stumbled across this place in the evening in the dark and witnessed a newly married couple having their wedding photographs taken. We returned the next day to visit the rooftop gallery above the cloisters.

One of my favourite places in Sorrento. The Cloisters of San Francesco is the remains of an old Monastery. In the heart of Sorrento next to the public gardens is a peaceful place where you can see the influences of the different civilizations. Nowadays concerts...More

Away from the busy streets of Sorrento a haven of tranquility. A wedding party were starting to arrive and I think a pianist was going to play. Beautiful surroundings for any bride.

We recently were at a wedding here and it was absolutely stunning. The staff were great when it began to rain briefly and delayed the ceremony until the rain had mostly passed. The photos look gorgeous! Such a wonderful venue for such a momentous occasion.

Just along from the lookout. Easy to walk past this. Some beautiful cloisters and wedding venue. Sometimes the church shop is open selling lovely tau crosses and rosary beads. Great for a photograph and a place of calm too.

I can’t think of anywhere in the world that would have been a better setting for our wedding ceremony. We visited a couple of evenings before and found it to be even better than the pictures. The atmosphere is incredibly tranquil and romantic, and we...More

The Cloisters of Saint Francis are an amazing and well hidden gem in an already wonderful town. They are a lovely reprieve from the heat, and what can be a busy area, especially in the evening. The plants are beautiful, and the sanctity of the...More

I booked mine using a package holiday operator and they did all the work, including a wedding planner in Sorrento.
