You will find this to be a long steep and challenging gong walk so wear appropriate clothing and bring water. Was it worth it? Probably not.

Rented a car from Europcar at Corso. Went over the mountains to the Amalfi side. Fantastic tour to Positano and Amalfi.

The walk here and back was a mixture of decent path and rough underfoot but the 2 hours provided brilliant vistas with Capri in view all the time. If you decide to take the path to Punta from the top of the hill viewpoint you will need good walking shoes and plenty of water as it really IS a long, hot and bumpy route.

THIS PLACE IS ALSO KNOWN AS "THE Baths of the Queen Giovanna"

If you want to experience something different and natural, this is for you. There is quite a walk and sort of hard to find, although if you follow jenmiller's post, you will be golden! There is quite a lot to explore and so many gorgeous veiws. I took the best pictures here of my hubby and I

Such a great idea to find a solution where there is no beach! Mountain is in some places meeting the sea with a very little beach , sometimes no beach at all! So what? Great platforms were built over the sea - with sunbeds, umbrellas, bars and restaurants on. It makes you feel so special! Water is clear and you can swim and play in the water all day long! One more thing: you can take the lift to the beach if you don't feel like climbing all those stairs!

Google and Apple maps are wrong on this! Not a hard walk to the trail but partly on a road with no sidewalks. We had our 10 and 8 year old and were a bit nervous when buses and cars came by. When we got there it was worth it! Swam, hiked a bit, walked the wooden path to the restaurant and had drinks watching the sun go into the water. Amazing time. Walk about 400 meters past where google maps (about 800 meters past where apple maps) tells you to go. Well past where three sidewalk ends. Bring swimming suits! First picture is where you catch the path from the Main Street down to the water. I’m unable to attach the google maps location (blocked?) but it is right after the Maxim Gorkis home past Hotel Spicy Sorrento (shows on google maps) on Via Capo.

A bit of a walk from "downtown" Sorrento, but worth it. Good views, pleasant countryside to walk through and Roman ruins at the end

Punta del Capo takes you away from busy town center to the sweet serenity of the sea. Although it is a little bit of a hike down the views are incomparable to anything else you’ll see! If staying in Sorrento center you can walk or take a bus!

Nice place to get away from it all, there is a small bar at the end of the wooden walkway. You will need to get the local Aline bus and get off at capo and walk down the land past the shop, it does get a bit uneven near the ruins of the Roman villa at the bottom.

Walk to the Sorrento Lift and you will see a wonderful view over this beach. Visit at sunset and you’ll get lost in the amber sky. Then get the cheap lift down to the beach and dine in the port
