Capri is an amazing island that I would highly recommend if you are in the area. Faraglioni has a beautiful view of the island that really showcases the rock formations around the cost line. Its much better in person that on any photo, so you should defiantly go.

We booked a private boat once we arrived at the port. The boat ride was 2 hours. And the view of Faraglioni was really unique. Couldn’t get enough of the views. Private boat tour was the best decision

I loved Capri. I actually did not go out to the formations, but took a picture from the island, such a beautiful view. Capri is quite small so it's easy to walk around and see them. Charming - and if you just take a picture, it is free. With more time I would have liked to have taken a boat tour.

I’ve seen plenty of rock formations around the world (Alaska, Halong Bay, el Arco in Cabo etc) but this one is no less spectacular. Nature sure is a great artist. We drove right into one on the arcs and took great photo

The view was amazing. The nature also but it was very similar to me, because I am Greek and our islands have all of these common. And I would dare to tell that we have much better beaches and sea from Italy.
Also I didn't was very fond of coffee shops and restaurants . The service was very poor of polite and everything was taking place rapidly. We couldn't have an enjoyable meal or dinner..!

A great option to enjoy the Mediterranean. It’s clean and well taken care of, more laid back than the other option and I loved to be just next to the rocks. The food is good, not amazing considering Capri high standards, but is totally worth spending the day here!!!

The rocks of I Faraglioni are certainly worth a visit. You can visit them from a number of different ways:
1.) Walk around the island and take the trail high up in the mountain. This will give you great photo opportunities of the rocks.
2.) Take the trail from the walk around the island (discussed above) down to sea level. This will give you an entirely different perspective of the rocks - and well worth it!
3.) Visit the rocks by boat! This is well done after completing 1 and 2 above, and taking the trail down to the rocks. After visiting the beach clubs at the bottom (the one on the left is much better!) you can take a boat from there to the Marina Piccola, from where you can take a bus to just about any major point on the island.
I Faraglioni is well worth a visit!

The best way to see the Faraglioni up close in all their glory is by private boat tour. And the best private boat tour is “Capri Trip Private Boat Tours!” My family (two couples) reserved a tour with this family company and Salvatore was our guide. He was fantastic, a great personality. This is the best private tour at the best price! Some of our friends went with another guide and paid MUCH MORE for LESS time!–to give you an idea of what an unbelievable value this is. In addition, they had a tiny boat with no covering and were scorched from the hot sun. Salvatore’s boat has a sunning deck that you can lie out under the sun and a shaded area for when it’s too hot. Just perfect. We wanted the full experience so we picked the 4 hour option (you can choose less time) and we tailored the trip just to our liking, asking for: the Faraglioni, the Grotta Azzura, the Emerald Cave, the light house, famous villas like Villa Malaparte, Marina Piccolo, the Arch, and much more! It was fantastic. You can see all these unbelievable sites in one boat tour. When we arrived at the Faraglioni, he weaved the boat in and out of the through way, and we took pictures to our hearts’ delight! (Google Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and hit “Images” for peek of just how iconic the Faraglioni are!) It was amazing. You can also choose to swim in several areas. We swam at the Emerald Cave, which was gorgeous. You’ll even get a taste of Salvatore’s mother’s delicious homemade limoncello. Salvatore gave us such an excellent tour. He’s so personable, genuinely loves Capri and showing it to people. We noticed that everywhere we went, every other tour operator stayed for a significantly shorter time than we did. Salvatore was happy to linger with us and answer questions. We did all the touristy things that one can do in Capri, Anacapri, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, and we stayed in both Positano and Capri. But this was our _absolute _favourite thing that we did not only in the Amalfi Coast but out of everywhere else we visitied this summer. We are already planning and hoping to return. The Faraglioni and this Boat Tour will be our first stop!!

the Faraglioni, just two rocks sticking out from water. is the symbol of Capri, to go and see them closely you have to go trough Bagni Fontellina where you will get robbed with their prices. overrated places.

The town of Capri has dozens of boats that wil take you around the Island for a modest fee and part of this boatride includes sailing thru the Arch of I Faraglioni. The Captain will point out the blue and green Grottos as you make your way around the Island. The highlight of the ride is when you sail thru the eye of I Faraglioni, it is good luck to yell " viva la dasiy" as your boat sails thru the eye. Truly a must see event.

Written 22 July 2017

No - nunca.

Can you tell me how expensive it was to take the ride around the island from Marina Grande and how long it too? Thanks so much!
Written 26 July 2016
We had a private boat, with a padded deck and plenty of seating. We had a family of five and paid cash. The price was about 150 Euro. I'm sure you can get cheaper, with a smaller boat or sharing with others. We paid cash and our hotel, The Capri Wine Hotel arranged it. The trip around the entire island lasted a little over 2 hours. Beer, soda, towels and water were provided. Our skipper, Stephano was great, bringing us to the Blue Grotto and navigating us in among the other boats. After taking the small skiffs into the Grotto we continued our trip. We stopped at several other Grottos, including Green and White. We stopped at a cove to take a swim and the highlight was circling Faraglioni and driving right through the arch. Stephano was a good guide pointing out famous points and homes. It may sound like a lot of money, but this was one of the best bargains and memorable trips we had in Italy.

Is there any tour in Capri which can take us through all the interesting places?
Written 20 February 2016
There are boat tours, some are quite inexpensive, get tix by the docks, you can negotiate. There are several attractions on the water and several on the land, so you will want to do both types. It is very easy to walk to many of the land sites like the Tiberius ruins. You can take a bus easily to anacapri or hire a taxi. You can get free maps and advice from the travel info booth right by the funiculari. If you are staying at a hotel, ask the concierge. The cheapest way to anacapri is the bus, very easy off the piazza; the easiest is the taxi.

Hi, i would like to do that tour, if not too expensive, can you remember which boat tour company it was and what it cost? thanks

We booked the tour with Gianni's boat tours and it cost $250 for 4 hours. Our captain was very knowledgeable, he took us to a beautiful spot to swim and pointed out all the landmarks and spots that otherwise we would have missed. Enjoy.

Saludos!

Saludos

We are on our way to Capri. Where was the beach with the nice chairs? Can anyone go to the pool at de Gelsomina Migliera or just hotel guests? We're looking for a pool spot for an afternoon. Any suggestions?
