We booked a tour back in January 2020 for May 2020. As we all know COVID happened and we were not able to go. Not our fault not their fault. While I know our deposit was not refundable, as were most of the good faith deposits we had put down every other hotel, boat, train, bus , airline ect gave us a credit to use once we were ALLOWED to travel again. I have sent 5 emails now starting in July 2021 since we are planning to go back in just a few short weeks and have gotten no response at all, she has ignored me completely. Every other tourism venue has been more then gracious about extending a credit-not a refund just a credit. This company chooses to ignore. Tourists should choose to ignore them.

Ms. Coppa took advantage of a bad time (pandemic) to profit for herself. In all the years of traveling, I have never had a bad experience with tour operators or hotels. In January 2020 I deposited money with Ms. Coppa for a tour of Ischia in June 2020. I fully understood that this deposit was non refundable. When the pandemic hit and Americans were not allowed to travel, I asked Ms. Coppa to move my tour to September 2020. In every experience of mine, It has been the policy of the Italian travel industry professionals that either a refund and credit be made to the client during the pandemic. Again, I had to reschedule the tour for June 2021 and again I have had to move the tour to August of this year 2021. When I made an inquiry to Ms Copa regarding my credit she told me I had no credit ( it didn’t matter about the pandemic). She did offer a discount in June 2021 of 25% that I in my ignorance thought was applied including the deposit. Now, she refuses to acknowledge any kind of discount of any kind. I appealed to another guide in Rome for advice. This guide reported her to the tourism agencies in Naples. They were shocked by her unprofessionalism. Due to the pandemic, tour operators are offering credits to be used when the client can get there. Ms. Coppa says she had American clients in August of last year. There has been a non-essential travel ban from the USA since the pandemic started. I am writing this review as a WARNING and a BEWARE of Ms. Coppa’s very unethical and unfair policy during pandemic times. I have many credits now with tour operators (Livitaly, NH Convento Hotel in Amalfi, photographers, videographers, florist, make up artist, musicians). All of these vendors have honored a credit. My advise in these tough times is to find yourself a more ethical fair tour operator. She says she had to set a time limit on rescheduling. This is stupid and unreasonable. Not only has she now an open date in June 2020 to book someone else, she would have had my tour rescheduled and had the balance of the cost of the tour. These are unusual times for everyone during a pandemic. A reschedule of tour is of no loss to Ms. Coppa. She was still going to get additional money when I came. Now she does not have my business ever again and a bad review to boot. I don’t agree with her statement that her clients understood the loss. She can so easily rebook during this pandemic time. She took advantage of a bad situation to profit for herself.

It really surprises me to read Ms Cigallio's inaccurate review, after the long emails exchange we had, where she agreed to the terms and conditions of the booking; after I postponed her tour 3 times and in one of her emails she also writes "thank you so much, you are very generous for this". I find "very unethical" the way she describes things in this review, making suppositions and depicting me as unprofessional, when all I did was to stick to our agreement, that she now calls "stupid and unreasonable"!

My friend had read this book series taking place in Ischia and I was honestly a bit uninterested in the tour but my friend insisted we took the tour to see the sights - IT WAS AMAZING. Absolute highlight if my vacation. I can not reccomend this tour highly enough. Silvana, our guide, showed us both the sights from the books as well as the sites in general. The guide herself was really entusiastic, well prepared, kind and we had a lovely day! Driver was excellent too! Don’t miss out! Do the tour! :)

From the time Silvana met us at the ferry to the time she dropped us off at a restaurant we had reservations for, she was a delight!! She was extremely knowledgeable about her beloved island and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. If you are a couple, go for the tuk tuk, as it's a blast. We were a party of four, and went with the tuk tuks(2) and our decision. However, as Silvana cannot be in two places at once (even though we traded off) we did not get to hear all the wonderful information she provided about the island. That being said, we really had a most wonderful day and highly recommend Silvana!!

My friend and I arrived in Ischia somewhat tired from our two weeks already spent exploring Italy. I absolutely adored ischia, my friend was a bit tired of the language barrier which increased in Ischia. In need of finding a way to explore the island that would not be as “adventurous” (read:getting lost), I smartly contacted Ischia guided tours and after an exchange in perfect English, I was quickly set up a tuk tuk tour of the island. We opted for a drive to sant’Angelo, stopped for shopping and a snack and continued onto the Negembo spa where we were dropped off for 3-4 hours. So lovely! We got to stop to check out a unique church and stopped to see features of the island while learning interesting facts about the locals. We were picked up as arranged to finish our trip around the island to be dropped off at the castle, where we spent another 2-3 hours exploring. It was such a magical day. We never would have seen so much of the lovely island without this perfect introduction! I can’t wait to return to Ischia!!
