I first heard about Walk and Photo on Tripadvisor. I contacted Giorgio to set up a 6 hour photography tour. His english was excellent and we found Giorgio a delight to be with. What a perfect way to spend a day exploring Naples from behind a camera. Giorgio showed us a side of Naples that you may not otherwise discover. I appreciate that Giorgio customized the tour to include a location that I requested to see. Giorgio also helped me to conquer some technical roadblocks that I was having with my photography. The Walk and Photo tour was one of the highlights of our 18 day trip to Italy.…

I only had a day on my own in Naples and didn't want to waste it! Georgio answered messages promptly and made it easy to meet up. He tailored the tour to what I wanted - which was street photography with people - and even stopped by a store when I realised my memory card was full (duh!). He gave me tips of what to see after the tour which were spot on. So, what an amazing day I had in Naples. Thanks Georgio :)…

Giorgio was prompt in answering SMS and communicating with us. The photo tour was setup only 2 days before our visit to Naples. We met at a central location near the harbor and had a great 3 hour tour. My wife and myself were shown around places we would not have found on our own - great street photography spots. Giorgio was also very good at giving tips and hints and pointing out interesting shots. Myself with a fancy mirrorless and my wife with her iPhone - we both learned quite a bit and came away with good shots. We finished off with a recommendation for a quiet local restaurant which was excellent! Thanks!…

I wanted a tour of the back streets of Naples that would be photographically interesting for me but which would also appeal to my girlfriend who is not into photography at all. Giorgio delivered on both counts. We met at the Belvedere San Martino, with its panoramic view of the city, before descending the old steps (Via Pedamentina San Martino) and making our way to the Spanish Quarter which we explored thoroughly. Later we moved on to the Centro Storico and finally out towards the Materdei district. It was 6 hours extremely well spent. As well as pointing out all manner of interesting subjects Giorgio was a mine of information about historical and cultural aspects of the city so that my girlfriend enjoyed the day as much as I did. We visited many places we either wouldn't have found, or might have been reluctant to enter on our own, and we always felt perfectly safe. Giorgio is an absolute gentleman, speaks excellent English and was the perfect guide. I can't think of a better introduction to this crazy and beguiling city. Thanks Giorgio!…

This was a fantastic way to visit places only the locals know and get to photograph them. Giorgio was very flexible, building the route according to our requests and and what we were hoping to see. During the tour he knew exactly how to point out the important details and explained the significance of the things we saw in regards to the city in a knowledgable way. Giorgio was also very generous with giving technical tips on which equipment would work best in the various situations and always made sure to give us his unique way of looking at the scene. I would highly reccommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a local's perspective on the city and also the extra value of an open discussion with a fellow photographer who has lived in this city all his life.…
