Very nice and close, familiar tour. Marcello is a great guy. What I enjoyed the most was the natural, honest, sincere feeling, unlike those prepared, studied and cliché speeches. Besides, you can ask anything and he will gladly and extensively answer you.

Great Spanish, by the way! Hahaha

Enthralling views of Naples

Marcello presented an amazing perspective of Napoli- we had the chance to visit Vomero (with the funiculi), Spanish Quarters and Piazza Plebiscito. The tour is in English and Spanish, so after listening to the explanation in English, I was able to take some photos while he provided details for the Spanish speakers. This Sunday morning tour is much better than the one I had done the day before. Marcello is really reliable and responded quickly to my emails.

A way to see Naples

A magnificent experience! Marcello gave us the opportunity to have a panoramic view of the Naples gulf, giving us many interesting information,not only historical but having to do with common day lives of the Napolitanes. Interactive guide, in fluent and sufficient English and Spanish as well.
Highly recommended!

great intro to the old town

took the free walking tour and it was a great way to get to know the old town.
our guide was very professional spoke good english and gave us some local "flavor" about the sites

Great Tour

We joined three different walking tours while in Naples and found the tour with Marcello to be the most enjoyable and interesting. He took us to places that we would have been unlikely to discover on our own even though we always explore away from the main tourist sights. He was friendly and informative and conducted the tour in Spanish and English; whilst this did lengthen the time of the tour it gave everyone time to take pictures while Marcello was explaining in the other language so it was fine. The weather was awful during our tour, particularly during the latter half, to the point that some of the people cut their losses and just tipped Marcello and left but we soldiered on and it was worth it. Book this tour it is great.

Free walking tour with Marcello

We decided to go on a free tour with Marcello to get the first impression of Napoli and we were totally satisfied with how Marcello led us in the city - the route we wouldn’t work out on our own easily. Despite heavy rain , we had a great experience. Marcello presented information in English and Spanish.

Fascinating free tour of Naples

Marcello’s Free Tour Naples is easy to reach from the Cruise Ship Terminal. This excellent walking tour in English and Spanish started with a funicular ride to an affluent neighbourhood with stunning views high above Naples Bay followed by a fast-paced downhill walk (lots of stairs, wear walking shoes) through a variety of historic streets buzzing with life, including a quick stop at a church with an interesting surprise. The tour began and ended in two different important central squares, but the rest was “off the beaten track” rather than a tour of the the usual tourist sites. Marcello was quick to answer questions and very passionate about his city. We are so happy to have had this 2 1/4 hour introduction to Naples.
