Great place but very hard to see everything especially in hot days Thanks The map was not clear and it was difficult to walk around and we spent many minutes trying to find the correct route

We got the train from Sorrento to Pompeii. At Sorrento train station, we bought ‘skip the line’ tickets which meant we had a guided tour and avoided the very long queues. This is a must - without the guide, we would have been wandering around...More

We were so happy we had Barbara as our tour guide at Pompeii. She was so knowledgeable and really brought this ancient city to life for us. I can’t imagine experiencing Pompeii any other way. Well worth it and would do it again!

With a local guide, our tour group visited a few streets of the site, saw the mosaics and the main square. You would need a full day here to see everything. Very busy even though it was very hot. Excavations are amazing. Learning how they...More

Hi! You can get a guided visit when you arrive pompeii. I rent an audio guide and for me was useful but I’ve seen groups with good guides that provides more interaction and knowledge.
