Amazing tour hosted by Marilisa Mellino. She is highly recommended by us and beyond knowledgeable of history and interesting facts. We had a great tour of Naples and Pompeii because of her!!! She is absolutely the benchmark in the tour guide industry. Thank you Marilisa!!!

We did a visit in Pompei with Paola and It was Amazing! She explained very well and with her we covered most of the important parts of Pompei. She was able to answer to all questions and everything She said, was so interesting! Highly reccomanded!

We went on a day trip to Pompeii and decided to book Francesco Mercurio for a two-hour visit held in German. He agreed to take our family of four (two adults, two children - 11 and 8) to the most representative sights. His knowledge, humour and patience with kids were outstanding. We feel we have made the most of our trip thanks to his dedication to the historical site and to his personal qualities. A high-flyer of a tourist guide, in a paramount place for humanity. The fee may seem steep, but it is worth it. Do NOT rely on an audio-guide (pushily offered outside the park by various companies, especially one with a yellow i), they are a waste of your time. We had two, pure rubbish. Book Francesco or one of his colleagues instead, they are knowledgeable, experienced locals, and book after you have entered the archeological park, NOT on the street. Grazie, Francesco! Saluti da Svizzera.

We visited the excavations of Pompeii with the guide Marilisa. The tour lasted 2 hours and it was great. Marilisa showed us the new excavations with the new discoveries. We were fascinated by the archaeological site and very happy to have booked the tour with Gaia guide. We recommend visiting Pompeii with a guide.

Great experience. Francesco involved us all, including the teens, with stories and details all along the way. Definitely recommend to fully enjoy the experience

Our guide managed to make our visit meaningful and fun in just over 2 hours, highlighting the must see without making feel that we missed anything. Really recommended.

Starting from the statement that Pompei is amazing in every aspect, Paola the guide in Pompei tour by Gaia has been a great experience, she is a really passionate on what is telling, and our young daughters , girls at age 14 and 12 years old, had the occasion to heard the stories of real life of ancient romans. The took note on a note book of Paola’s information. We learn about weird habits of habitants on pubblic baths, or open air restaurants. We adore the ruins or the geometric urbanization, squares such as the central patio . My wife had funny speech about the penis statues 😊, simbol pf power and fertility. It was a pity due to the covid restrictions do not enter in the Lupanari rooms but Paola was able to describe as a funny joke the environment into those rooms. Description of painting was very accurate by her. So congrats to Gaia to select Paola. Hopefully we will come back in Ercolano and visit with her that majestic archeological sites as well. I wish to everybody to visit Pompei ! It worths, even is a little bit tiring due to the enormously wide city to know. Good also to appreciate the good efficiency of entry services, inner restaurants with clean restrooms for taking a rest.

We had an excellent guided tour from mario at the scavi di Pompei. We met him at the entrance to the site. My Italian is not the best but he spoke slowly for me and gave a fascinating tour of Pompei. He is extremely knowledgeable, gave us a lot of the history of Pompei and took us to see sites off the main drag which we may not have thought to visit otherwiseHe speaks Italian, French and German. He is one of the best tour guides we have had in Italy, possibly in Europe. We recommend him to everyone.

The price tage might seem steep, but by far those were the best euros spent in the trip. Giuseppe was knowledgeable and absolutely enjoyable. Without him, Our trip to pompei would not have been anywhere close to the fantastic experience we had
