A wine experience like no other! Wine is an important part of Italian culture. At VinoRoma wine tastings/seminars we give you the key to understanding Italian wines and your taste so you can continue exploring on your own, too. Not intimidating, stuffy or confusing - a lot of fun and very insightful! Nice side effect: you will learn a lot about food, too!Drink wine. Not too much. Mostly Italian.

We were first time visitors to Rome, but we wanted to book a few things that were a little out of the ordinary and Vinoroma's wine and cheese lunch was one of them. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Hande was a great host and made us feel very welcome. She is also very knowledgeable and we learned a lot from her... More

Was a great way to end my study abroad trip in Rome. You Learn a lot about the different wines and how to get the most of the wine when pairing it with the right cheese and other foods. Definitely worth it and I highly recommend it.

On a weekend trip to Rome, Vinoroma's Food Tour was definitely a highlight ! No way I would have found all these amazing little food shops Hande took us to. There is no better way to visit any city than with a local, and you would think Hande has been living in Rome forever ! She is a very personable... More

Our trip to Rome in March made me a Trip Advisor convert, thanks in large part to Vino Roma and Hande Leimer. I was initially suspicious that wine tasting with a sommelier could rank higher than St. Peter's and the Galleria Borghese, but our two hour session was a pure delight. By inviting us into her home, Hande provided us... More

I can't recommend this experience enough for anyone with the money and desire to learn more about Italian wines. The setting was comfortable, very close to St. Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo; the host was charming, knowledgeable and witty; the wines were, of course, superb, and the guidance helped me to appreciate each of their qualities much more than I... My girlfriends and I had the best time at the wine & cheese pairing! We learned so much about the various wines and also what is the best foods to pair them with. When we walked in, the table was beautifully set with wonderful meats, cheeses and bread & we knew that we were in for a great time. Hande... More

I attended one of Hande's fantastic cheese and wine lunches in her own apartment while on a break in Rome with my best friend. The session took place around her elegant dining table and the group was intimate. Ours included 3 lovely ladies from America (we're from the UK). The apartment is easy to find and completely stunning! The experience... More

My husband is a real wine enthusiast and suggested attending a tasting at Vino Roma during our three-day stay in Rome. I'm so glad he did! Our sommelier Hande made it a wonderful experience, we got to sample some fantastic wines produced through-out Italy. For the less advanced (like me) she provided basic terminology and tasting techniques, more knowledgable guests... More

My partner and myself had booked the afternoon tasting with 6 Italian wines. Despite us being quite into wine, but not that knowledgelable about Italian ones, our lovely host, Hande, managed to give us deep insights into the topic. In our group were different levels of knowledge and she managed to involve everybody, individuals being experts already with specific questions... More

Overall, Vino Roma wine tasting was fun. It's highlighted my trip with a local touch. So I do not regret I've booked it. However, I would not book this tasting session again, would not book other sessions, and would not recommend any of Vino Roma sessions to my friends. Why? - I did not feel like this tasting was about... More

Dear aliaks, I am glad you at least do not regret having booked the tasting. I do take your critique very seriously and will definitely try to better the experience for anyone. * The tasting table is designed for 16. If there were 14 people at your tasting, this means there should have been enough space. But I do take... More
