In August 2019, our family of 4 went on an Italian tour. We live in Boston, MA USA
and have only limited vacation time. Needless to say, the biggest issue that we needed to deal with was how best to maximize your experience given the limited time. What cities and attractions should you visit?
Enter Rahul and his team from Odyssey. We engaged him early on and he was instrumental in planning our trip. He helped us in figuring out an optimal itinerary that covered a number of cities beyond Rome. We were able to cover Rome, the Amalfi coast, Florence and Venice. He was able to organize the tours, taxis, museum tickets etc.
In Rome, his tour guides to the Vatican and Colosseum - Claudia and Matthew - were superlative. Their knowledge and friendly demeanor made our visit even more memorable. Kudos and thank you.
Having Rahul's company by our side also made it extremely useful during emergency situations - when flights run late. He was able to work around things to get us on our tours. This would not have been possible had we been on our own!
We highly recommend using professionals like Rahul for your Italian tours!
To sum up, just go with Rahul to make your trip extra special and hassle free. He reliable and extremely efficient!

We went to Europe over the summer and our trip was made all the more memorable by Rahul and his team at Europe Odyssey. We visited Rome, Venice and Barcelona. While in Rome, we did smaller trips to nearby cities and I cannot say enough good things about how we well we were treated and taken care of. Right from helping us plan the trip and deciding on the itinerary, to the guides that were with us along the way, they made the trip a huge success. Not even a minor detail was missed and we were taken care of very well. Our guide in Venice was Chiara and she was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We did a walking tour of the city with her and the history and details she shared about the city, and nearby attractions was very helpful. In Barcelona our guide was Luana and she was just as wonderful. Helpful and friendly, she took the time to explain the history of the place. We also visited the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and it has to be the most magnificient church we have seen. Rahul was our guide in Rome and his expertise and friendly attitude sealed the deal. He was able to make recommendations of sites to visit and he and his team arranged for our transporation to nearby cities including Florence, Pisa and the Amalfi coast. Overall our trip was a great success thanks to the team at Europe Odyssey.

This was a trip for my daughter and i. We worked with Rahul who was absolutely amazing to work with. A friend of mine recommended him to me, and I am so glad that she did. From organizing train tickets, to private walking tours in Florence, day trip to wine country from Florence, a bus tour of the Vatican City and Rome, to organizing a private car for a drive down to the Amalfi coast, he answered every question that i had and helped make this trip a very memorable one for my daughter and I.

Claudia was very knowledgeable about the history and art history which made the tour come to life. She was very patient with my teenage boys and had a good sense of humor. She would ask if her pace and depth of explanations were too much. We learned so much more with having a knowledgeable tour guide. She didn’t rush the tour and was willing to climb the stairs of the Vatican if we desired.

Oreste was a fantastic guide! He was very knowledgeable about many of the things in the museum, the chapel, and the cathedral. He was able to point out so many things that we would have otherwise missed. This tour was fantastic, and we definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get the full Vatican experience!

Europe Odyssey Tours organized a private car to meet us at the Naples train station, provided a guide for a private tour of Pompeii and the delivered us to our hotel in Sorrento. Flawless! The tour was wonderful and the driver provided was top notch. A great afternoon! These guys really went out of their way to make things simple and their planning and communications were great. Highly recommend

I scheduled wheelchair accessible tours of Rome and Florence.
We had the best private tours of our lives with Rahul in Rome and Angela in Florence.
As we retell our vacation stories to friends, we talk about shaking hands with Pope Francis, being in the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, the Colleseum, the Forum, a ride in the 155 mph bullet train, the Pieta and statue of David, and the amazing tours led by RAHUL and ANGELA.
No waiting in lines, they knew where curb cutouts, elevators, and accessible bathrooms were located. They tailored their information to me (75), my son (44), and my grandson (14). Every question was answered, every minute was filled with rich, historic information.
Definitely worth the time and money.

The private Vatican tour with Rahul was a complete pleasure. He is knowledgeable about the museum, the contents and the history of the art. We had my mother-in-law with us who does not walk well and he was able to give us a fantastic experience while accommodating her mobility.

We did this tour as well as a tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica with Europe Odyssey. Both were amazing! Our tour guide, Rahul, was very knowledgeable and great to be around. I would recommend his tours for anyone wanting to visit Rome. Rahul provides a ton of back story and details that you would otherwise miss if you toured on your own. I highly recommend booking! It was worth the price and became a highlight of our trip!

I highly recommend Alessandro to anyone who is interested in doing a private tour. Him and I were able to discuss many things regarding Church History
He showed us step by step on which items and additions were built and which Popes were buried in the Holy Place.
I hope to come back to Rome next summer and to get Alessandro again to tour us again at the Vatican.

We are arriving on June 6 from Cusco on an Inca Rail train, leaving Olantaytambo at 720am, arriving I assume in Machu Picchu at 8:48am and would like to drop off our luggage at your hotel and quickly get up to the top of Machu Picchu. We already have our Machu Picchu tickets for 6/6 and 6/7.. Is this feasible?
How far are you from the Inca Rail train station? Is it feasible to walk our luggage to your hotel and store it for the day? THen where do we go to get transport up to the top of Machu Picchu? Your suggestions would be most appreciated.

I visited a website for "Touriocity" -- some type of intermediary -- ahead of our actual travels. You sign up/identify the types of tours your want and tour companies send proposals with details, pricing, etc. You then select what you want from those proposals. Search for them.
That said, I am SURE that you can search for Europe Odyssey Tours' website and book ahead of time, directly with them.
