There's no doubt that there are many ways of going around Rome, mainly because of its endless historical heritage, but it's hard to find one like "SparkilingRone"! We decided to join the group and it's been just amazing... the way the young, passionate guides describe the ancient places and let you feel part of it is incomparable, I really felt part of the place I was visiting, making of it a real discovery experience, and all ended up with an unforgettable wine and food tasting of the local product, having a chance to try what it means to taste the REAL Italian quality food and wines!

Glu Glu is not near the center of Rome. It was a short cab drive there. This fresh venue was a great way to sample Italian wine with others and learn about wine. The owner walked us through the wine making, tasting and pairing process. You can stay and enjoy pizza when the class was over. I purchased a Valpolicella to take home.

Fredrico was amazing! Great wine, great information about food pairings. He took at lot of time to explain everything, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He and his girlfriend recommended great local restaurants, we had a lovely lunch after the tasting at a place they recommended. We have been to tastings before but we learned new things at this one! Highly recommend, really great experience.

We had an amazing time with Daniele talking us though all the local wines and their origin. The atmosphere was brilliant and we got a gorgeous tasting plate while we were sampling the wines. I would highly recommend this experience.

There are not words for what an amazing time we had at this tasting! Frederico (the sweetest human being) was amazing from before we arrived. OUTSTANDING knowledge, incredible pairings, great social skills. This was hands down the best experience, and most amazing memory we will take away with us. Do not hesitate to book this opportunity. Clearly passionate about wine, and his enthusiasm is infectious. Such a wonderful time with someone who makes you feel immediately at home!

We had a great time at the wine tasting, start to finish! Daniele met us at the Metro stop to take us to the wine bar, where Francisco led us through a guided tasting of 4 Italian wines, 3 of which were very local. He was an excellent teacher and we learned a lot about general wine appreciation and local winemaking techniques. The servings of the wines were good size and the tasting included some meats, cheese and bread so it was a good value for the price.

We had such a wonderful evening at Glu glu!
The hosts are so friendly and knowledgeable and the place has such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We tasted 5 delicious wines which were complemented with tasty charcuterie boards - a nice surprise! The experience was so affordable and made for a lovely evening out. The venue also hosts music and comedy evenings... Pity we aren't around Rome for longer as we would definitely return!

we just landed in Rome and we decided to choose sparklingrome experience because they seemed young and interested in wine and plus we wanted to live our first night with real local people... well I'm grateful we did, these guys are nice, knowledgeable and made us feel like already part of the city, since the first day!amazing wines and company! definitely a must!

Our sommelier Daniele was simply incredible, so passionate and extremely knowledgeable about wine. He took me and my family for an unforgettable food stroll with wine tasting. We tried some delicious local food and biologic wine typical to the territory. Daniele is not only a professional sommelier, but a funny and entertaining person, who made our wine tasting tour the best experience. We all have had fun, but we also have learnt how to pair food and wine. Highly recommended!

I had an absolute blast tasting and learning about wines with Sparkling Rome and our fantastic sommelier, Daniele. Daniele has been my favourite waiter in Rome for a decade now and I was very excited to have him teach me all about wine tasting - how to properly taste the subtly in wines, how to pair them, all whilst in a fun and informal setting. The wines were chosen from biodynamic wineries, a departure from the usual commercial sorts. I highly recommend Sparklingrome!
