Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went out before sunset, walking along to the Spanish Steps and then through the Borghese Park to the far Terrazza del Pincio where we watched the sun finally sink below the horizon. The area looked like a car park but there were lots of couples and individuals just enjoying the view and/or listening to the busker. It must be fantastic to have this on your doorstep and be able to walk or run here every day.

Pincio Terrace is well worth making sure you are there for Sunset.
Find out the local tome of Sunset, get up there 15 mins before, there is a corner shop on the other side of the square, cheap beer and snacks. Carry them up, get a spot on the walled garden and wait for the sun to dip below the hill
What a view

A short but fairly steep walk takes you from Piazza del Popolo up to the top of Pincio. There are amazing views of Rome from the top as well as a park which contains a lot of busts of prominent Italians. There's a park which had a lot of families who were hiring go-carts, golf carts etc.

Hi, kindly ket us know : i will be im Rome with my mother , 84 years old, and i would like to take her to to visit Terrazza del Pinchu view point. Please let me know if there is a way to get near by this high place by a taxii, without climbing the staris from Piaza del Popolo?
it will be too difficult for my mother to climb those stairs so i am looking for the nearest place which a TAXI can take us to, with no need to climb stairs nor climbing a steep path. thank you

12/31/19 This was worth making time to walk here! Great views of Rome. Some say it is very steep walk but I didn’t think it was so steep. Beautiful Borghese Gardens next to this too.

It is worth climbing the small hill up to see the great views of the piazza and Rome. The gardens up there are also nice for a stroll.

An amazing view of the city and Piazza del Popolo, cool fountains, trees and shade, still the scammers found you somehow. Lots of stairs to climb up from the Piazza.

Lovely setting for sunset view over Rome, with the dome of St Peters basilica dominating the skyline.
Local buskers playing music adds to a nice ambience - come and spend a relaxing 45mins and just take in the sun slowly setting over beautiful Rome!!
Easily accessible a short walk up from the Piazza de Popolo

Can I go to this place walking from trinita dei monte church through viale della trinita instead of climibing the steep steps from piazza del popolo?
My wife is pregnant and we have a baby so we also wel have a stroller and we need to avoid the steps.

Yes. Just follow Viale della Trinita dei Monti up the hill. It's about a 10 minute walk (probably longer with a stroller).
