This service was very convenient and nice to know what the cost is will be up front and pay online. Our driver picked us up 5 mins early, drove well, and was polite. We were happy and felt safe with the service. Would highly recommend!

I’ve used Welcome Pickups a few times in different countries. When we landed in Rome our driver was waiting for us. He took charge of our cases and led us to his vehicle. On the return journey which was an early start our driver was 15 minutes early. On both occasions the drivers have been very polite, driven very well, had lovely comfortable vehicles. I like how you pay up front, theres no hidden charges and you are not trying to find a taxi. Its always a good experience with Welcome Pickups

I used an airport transfer from FCO into Trastevere in January 2024. It all went off perfectly, the driver was on time, let me know via WhatsApp that he was there, and delivered us safely (no small feat with Roman drivers) with all of our bags. He was courteous and efficient.

We used the service to get picked up at our apartment in Trastevere. I booked the day before our flight, there is a 24 hour requirement. It was easy to book online and communication was great. Our driver was extremely professional. It took around 40 minutes to get to the airport on a Saturday morning.

Welcome pickups reservation process was simple and straightforward. I thought their rates were slightly higher but it gave me peace of mind that there will be someone to pick me up in a strange country. Word of caution: you should reserve pickup service at least couple of days before your trip so you can get the driver and vehicle details before you travel. Lastly, if you have a connecting flight to your final destination and you miss it either by delays or your fault, don’t expect the original driver to wait for you more than an hour. In that case as soon as you find out, communicate with your driver through their app or driver’s WhatsApp number. Most likely you will need to cancel your original reservation and create new one. But the new reservation might not guarantee you timely driver details and/or pickup.
