There were so many options for visiting the Vatican and St. Peter's it was hard to decide between them. We are so happy we chose LivItaly for an early morning tour - and even more delighted that Luca Romano was our guide. He arranged it so that our small group of seven seemed to be the only people in the... More

Our guide Francesca was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We had the underground and 3rd tier tour which was really interesting. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

We did the Coliseum tour, including the underground tour. The underground tour really added to getting a feel for the place. Thomas was an excellent guide and really helped you get a sense of what the Coliseum was like in ancient times. The lines were long and skipping the line is key. I definitely recommend them!

We (my two sisters and brother in law) were part of a group of six doing a walking tour of the Coliseum and Forum on a Sunday afternoon in February. Our guide was Thomas, a long-time resident of Rome from the UK, who was all you could ask for in a guide. He was extremely knowledgeable -- answering all the... More

Arriving at the VIP section we got to enjoy an amazing buffet and open bar all with great view over the majestic Stadio Olimpico. The seats had spectacular view of the pitch, and were just in front of the... More

We had the enormous privilege of stepping back in time to Ancient Rome accompanied by our first class guide Luca Romano when we visited the Colluseum, the Roman Forum and Pallatine Hill. This experience will stay with us forever. Lucas`s expert knowledge and sense of humour held the attention of our small group of six throughout. We were given access... More

We did a walking tour with Tiffany and it was excellent. Tiffany was able to quickly gauge the level of knowledge and adjust her presentation accordingly.

She took us and our two children (ages 8 and 9) through the Vatican. She was great at gauging the kids interests, keeping the tour moving for them and giving us an intro into the art and history. Thanks Giulia! So worth having a small tour btw!

The tour was very good. They responded to my email request straight away and were helpful. The tour group was small, we started on time. The guide was very informative and friendly. We were not rushed and always had personal attention. We would definitiely recommend them

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
