It was a delightful experience listening live to the beautiful immersive singing and piano playing of famous opera arias. Our family of six absolutely enjoyed it. And if this message seen is by the performers, we want to explain that we made the choice at intermission that we better return to our hotel at that time to allow our children to sleep after having jet lag and a full itinerary. But we genuinely loved the performance and wished we got to stay for the whole time.

Ok. A little “touristy”, but the combined talent of the artists performing just a couple of metres away transported us to a tranquil world of lovely music. We were expecting another musical disappointment like we had in Vienna, but this was something completely different and we had a most enjoyable experience.
All the musicians played with passion and the opera singers were just amazing.
Thank you so very much !
Highly recommended !!

I had just been thinking that we should see an Italian Opera while in Rome. We stumbled upon this little church and we’re delighted by the performances. The pianist, Roberto Marchesi, was so expressive, told little stories about each piece and was very entertaining. But listening to him and watching his expertise was truly mesmerizing. The Tenor and Soprano delighted the senses as well - but I sat in the 3rd row watching Roberto and came away a big fan. This is a must for a true Italian cultural experience.

We have just been treated to an amazing experience of operatic arias performed by three wonderful musicians in an intimate church setting just off Piazza Venezzia. The three performers - a pianist, a soprano and a tenor performed some of the most famous arias and Italian classical songs. They were amazing, introducing each piece with a short explanation. The soloists were truly magnificent musicians, and the whole evening was truly memorable. We were also treated to a glass of wine during the break. My children were mesmerized, and my 13 year old son loved it! I warmly recommend it!

We visited Italy for a week, and enjoyed an evening at this surprisingly affordable Opera. , The venue was easy to find, seating was comfortable and efficient & the performance was absolutely amazing. It was touching, moving, intimate,, and a very engagimg type of performance. Highly recommended.

We spent a magical evening listening to arias from various operas and some classic Italian favourites, performed by two superb singers, and accompanied by an outstanding pianist on the grand piano. The pianist, Roberto Marchesi, introduced each piece in English and also introduced the singers. The atmosphere was informal and we were offered a glass of wine during the interval. The acoustics in the church were excellent and the performers were right in front of us, which helped to make the evening feel intimate and special. This really was a highlight of our visit to Rome.
The performances are held in different churches depending upon the day of the week so it’s worth double-checking the website when booking.

This is not the first time we have attended the Opera da Camera di Roma concert during our stay in Rome - we saw them for the first time 6 years ago in the Basilica of Cosmedin. But it doesn't matter in what composition and where they appear. They are always phenomenal and present a concert at the highest level. We will get back for sure. The free drink is a very nice touch. Very nice and helpful staff.

This concert on 28th March was fantastic, absolutely brilliant. The pianist gave an introduction to each piece of music which was so informative and interesting. I felt so amazing after the concert, it was really uplifting for the soul!! I cannot recommend it highly enough, I absolutely loved the event. I went to about 4 different 'opera aria' type concerts in Rome last week and this one was by far the best.
The soprano, tenor and pianist were truly gifted musicians. The host at the concert who took the tickets and showed you to your seat etc, really was so very lovely, kind, welcoming, absolutely delightful. This makes all the difference, to be welcomed so beautifully. Thank you.
I would love to go to this concert again one day. BRILLIANT!!

It was fantastic evening during our stay in Rome. The musicians presented an outstanding musical level. Perfectly selected repertoire (you can hear a selection of the most popular Italian opera arias and neapolitan songs). A charming, atmospheric interior of the church where the concert takes place. Refreshment with free wine. Everything was perfect. Higly recommended!

I don’t know anything about opera and I had a fabulous time last night at the Methodist church show. They played sections of famous operas and I recognized several of them from movies I’ve seen in the past. It was a great introduction to opera and now I want to see a full opera.
