The heart of the Eternal City, most of the famous attractions are in or close to the Centro Storico. In two days we walked between all the main attractions and saw some amazing sights. We visited in February so it was cooler and less busy than I imagine it is during warmer months. A memorably stunning place.

I admit that before going to Rome, I wasn't sure how much I would like it. Mostly because I thought it would be insanely crowded. We went in October, and while there was still a lot of people around, it never seemed crazy. There are people walking everywhere, plus cars, bicycles, and motorcycles, but it all seems to work. You... More

The center of the capital is where all happens. Feel the breeze that runs through the buildings, and walk through all the narrow streets day and night. Everyone has a different experience, all wonderful and impressive.

The is just so much to do and see in Roma. St. Peters, the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, beautiful parks, ancient structures and building. The list just goes on and on! Every one should visit Roma at least once in their life time. I do strongly recommend that you plan you visit and take in as many things as possible. If... More

There is so much to see that it boggles the mind. Each subsequent visit, we find more to see and do. No matter which direction you wander, there is much of historical significance and interest to see (Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, museums, gorgeous churches filled with art, incredible monument and fountains). Best visited via unhurried exploration.

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
