This was our second family visit to Italy, and like last time we contacted Sandra before our trip and asked her to plan our days. We can't express enough How wonderful this company is to deal with and their guides are simply brilliant. We had 3 transfers plus private tours and everything was perfect. We are planning another trip to Italy... More

We hired a guide to take us around the Vatican Museums with Romaround and we got Mauro. What a treat!! His knowledge is as wide as St Peter's Square itself, but he did not bog us down with unnecessary details. Pieces of historical and cultural info were given at precise times, in front of specific objects so that it made... More

Terrible tour guide, Max, talked on and on and on.....ABOUT the Sistine Chapel, we left the tour so we could actually see it before it closed. He was offensive in his comments about Eve and women.

This review is not about us. We are waiting the reviewer and Tripadvisor to delete it. We do not have a guide called Max, this is not us. Please note that another company is using our name (which is an officially registered Trade Mark in the US) and misleading customers. We are not RomaroundTours.com, listed on Tripadvisor as Romaround Tours.... More

We used Romaround for three Italian cities, the service was great, the guides were very knowledgable and professional, we had very little time so they really showed us the best in each city. They got us tickets for key sites ahead of time so we would not stand in line for hours. we highly recommend them.

We are a group of 19 and has booked a minibus and requested a English speaking driver only to visit the attractions areas in Florence and Pisa. Payment was made in advance. Our request is clearly stated in the confirmation but the driver in fact did not know any English at all. We totaling disappointed with the arrangement of the... More

Dear Elsie C, I am very sorry you have not been satisfied with our service. As clearly explained in the several emails we exchanged before booking, the driver is not a tour guide so he should not be expected to perform like a tour guide. This particuar driver had a very basic English knowledge, anyway sufficient to what is required... More

Our guide Margherita was phenomenal! She is proud of her Roman heritage and offered a unique tour of the heart of Rome. The love of her city shone through her incredible knowledge of art and history. She took her time explaining everything and tying all of the story together from start to finish. Highly recommend this company and tour guide!

Fantastic tour of both the Colessium and Palatino. Our guides were very informative and friendly. I would recommend this tour company to everyone. Also, Chad (our Palatino guide) was fantastic! His knowledge of Roman history is spectacular, and his knowledge of local restaurants was very helpful.

Mauro was incredible! What this man doesn't know about Roman History is not worth knowing. If you want a guide to explain the rise and fall of the empire and guide you step by step through Ronan History he's your man! Book him 😀.
