Our family ( teens 18 and 15) did a 3.5 hour food tour with Giovanna during Easter week. The tour was the highlight of our trip. Giovanna was a great guide! We learned so much while walking the streets about the Roman way of life and food! We had samples of pizza, wine, cheese, meat and sweets. All so delicious!... More

We went on a midday food tour with Giovanna, a young Roman woman who knows & loves Roman food, where to buy it fresh or prepare it yourself. We started in the Trionfale Market, tasting our way through the whole market, the fresh figs & bread with prosciutto were the best. Then moved on to local favorites like Bonci pizza... More

We had the food tour as the very first item on our itinerary in Rome, and it was very nice! Nice and friendly guide, great samples of food to taste and a neat way to get a little introduced to- and get the bearings of the area where we also stayed. However, the reason for the 4- and not 5-star... More

Hi Marius, thank you for taking time to write the review. We are very glad to learn you had a nice time with us and greatly enjoyed our food tour, even though we understand your expectations have not been completely met. Based on your feedback we feel that there was some misalignment in expectations, surely a point for us to... More

Our guide for The Rome Food Walking Tour was as bright and sunny as the glorious day that presented itself that morning and set the tone perfectly for the fun and informal tour we were about to embark on. Do not let the Australian accent put you off, this second generation Italian has Roman blood and passion for food coursing... More

I have chosen a morning food tour in central Rome during my first day in the city. It exceeded expectations. Our foodie guide was fun and provided a lot of interesting information about Roman and Italian culture. Excellent tastings, loved especially Roscioli bakery and gelato but all have been high quality and not touristic. Following the tour we were full... More

Our family of four included a 25 and 18 year old. We all love food so chose a private tour of the Campo area. Our guide, Giovanna, was lovely, charming and absolutely wonderful. She was so genuine and able to relate to each of us. The food tastings were incredible and extremely filling! We wish we had Giovanna in our... More

I stumbled on Tavole Romane after browsing through some Rome-based expat food blogs and read up on other Trip Advisor reviews of their and other recommended food tours. Tavole Romane Food Tours had some great ratings so my family decided to give it a shot. As a foodie who isn't afraid to do her own research, I admit that I... More

There are plenty of ways to visit one city. But there is only way to experience beautifully in a city like Rome. It is the tasting his cuisine. History, art and food are an essential union. I highly recommend the tour "Testaccio-Ostiense". The food was fantastic and genuine and the wine the suburb was very colorful and it has been... More

We had a very good experience touring with our great guide Giovanna who was very nice and loves to show you around great places to taste and eat. We even went back the next day to some of the lovely tasty places. Thank you Giovanna. We enjoyed it very much. We ordered it on the internet and it was great.

We’ve been in Rome for the second time and Tavole Romane’s tips were spot on once again. We love them so much because they fit both cheapness and food’s high quality. Tavole Romane is constantly informed about brand new locations and its kindness and courtesy are always great! Top!!! Spendore e Andrea
