Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is Rome's oldest bridge, originally built in 200 BC. Crossing the bridge we saw lots of padlocks attached by lovers as a symbol of their affection. Lovely views here with a vibrant nightlife.

We attended a class in Ponte Milvio and enjoyed the town so much we stayed for dinner and some bar-hopping. It turned out to be our favorite night of our week in Rome. It was a relief to get away from all of the people shoving selfie-sticks and scarves in our face. Just be warned: there are no taxi stands close-by. We finally had to call an Uber to get back to the city-center.

Hellou Everyone. The bridge is nice. But not really a bomb. It's nice to go there for a look but it's really not in the center and you need to take your time to go there. I wouldn't recommend really..

...and sometimes this is a good thing. You already read that is a romantic place, but we appreciated this place because it was calm and relaxing, full of young people and without traffic! The area is amazing, full of typical bars, restaurants and shops. Quite far from the city center, but well served by bus or cab.

Justa a few minutes walk from my home, the spectacular Roman bridge has been spoiled recently by the roman youngsters that have made it one of their gathering places (movida) and deturpe it pacing their "love locks" copying the fil of Mucino based on the book of Camilleri. A real disgrace.

Crossing the bridge to access the night life around the vivacious square. Ideal atmosphere for all ages mostly youngsters and young couples too.

Nowadays this wonderful bridge is famous for the padlocks that young couples use to tie to any metal structure as a witness of their unshakeable love. Still the bridge is since at least 22 centuries a hub for Roman history: the decisive battle between Constantine and Maxentius in 312 AD takes its name, also if it probably took place in Saxa Rubra, about 6 kilometre from the bridge. It was one of the main access to Rome for those who came from the North, so it allowed kings, emperors, popes and many others to cross the river. Don't forget the bridge and the river are so charming, enchanting, you can also see cormorants from its parapet!

Great place to visit during night time. The Tiber was beautiful and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Not overcrowded with tourists, but lots of Italians couples enjoyimg themselves.

I am a bit of a Roman history buff...don't know much but find it interesting. Having been to Rome many times snd have seen the 'must see' and just finished listening time podcast 'history of Rome' I decided to check out the scene of Constantine's famous victory. Of course then it was a field...now a high density modern urban area. The bridge is a pedestrian bridge with no historical markings of consequence or information. Even the locks and chains symbolizing Roman young lovers are scare and insignificant. That said it is another check off my bucket list and I can at least say that I saw it on a beautiful December afternoon!
