- Martin B2 contributionsLots of space and no waiting on a Wednesday in JuneWe were there early June 2023 on a Wednesday. It was very few visitors. No wait at all at the slides. It was clean and fun. With our tickets (online, 14 eu per person) we had no beds, but there is a lawn with plenty of umbrellas were we lay on a big towel. We came from the city center of Roma by bus (about an hour one way), which worked well, buses had air conditioning. - LeonVQuinnMohill, Ireland74 contributionsCool waterparkI read about Hydromania before we came to Rome and decided against going because of some stuff I read online about it being hard to get to and long queues but we decided to give it a try when we'd been in Rome a few days just to do something different. Taxi transfers from our campsite about 20 mins away cost about €110 for 6 people. Along with €116 Hydromania tickets and about €70 for food it was an expensive day out but I'd say worth it. It's a pretty cool place with lots to do. There were queues for slides and we went slightly out of season so I'd be scared to think how long queues are in the peak of summer. The place could do with a lazy river or rapids. Better choice of food too maybe.Visited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 22 June 2023

- John H4 contributionsExcellent day at a great parkFantastic day, Ferrgosto! The park was busy due to the public holiday but staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time and enjoyed the pools and slides. Range if food on offer is good and at reasonable prices. Would highly recommend for those seeking a day our of the city centre and a relax in the sun and pool.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 15 August 2023

If you are an international traveller, you certainly must plan ahead. We struggle to get a ticket online as they want to verify your email address and send you a code on your phone but it would not recognise the international phone number, we tried all variations, the person at the gate was very patronising thinking we do not know how phone numbers work. Us, trying to find a solution, asked about getting cash out, They said they did not have an ATM on the premises . Who would imagine they would not take the card after a certain time in the day... Actually, they do mention it wrtitten with a very little font on their website... Not very 21st century as even even market stalls take the card nowadays.
Also, this park is not easily accessible by public transport - it took us 2h to get there from Trastevere! In the end, we did not get into the park, so I cannot comment on the slides, I wish I had been able to.

Visited here whilst staying at Camping Village Fabulous, travelled via Uber as public transport seemed impossible. Paid €15 each to enter from 2pm. Fairly small park but I liked the compact size, looked run down in some areas. My son went on quite a few slides, 3 he couldn’t do as he wasn’t the right height or weight. Queues were short due to the overcast weather, I didn’t hire a sun lounger, they didn’t look worth the money! Lifeguards were on it most of the time, only one I saw wasn’t really paying attention.
I wouldn’t rush back but if you looking at somewhere to cool down/break from sightseeing then I would recommend the afternoon session.

There is a change machine at the locker stands maximum it can take is a 10 euro note. You can open and close the locker as many times as you want very simple to do so by using the pin pad machine. Life guards are very on point. They are not constantly on their phones and they actually do look out for everyone. It odd very fun. They don’t provide towels so you can bring your own or buy one there along with flip flops or swimming shorts. You don’t have to have a Sun bed you can simply lay your towel on the grass like everyone else and I did. When leaving you can go to the office by the main entrance who will book you a taxi.

The park is alright, prices are quite good for the area but the « lifegaurds » are worthless.
They just sit around at the slides looking at their phone instead of paying attention or thinking efficiently. The waiting times for the slides are excrutiatingly long because they drastically overestimate the time it takes to ride the slide.
Also, a break of 1 hour in the middle of the day is quite unusual.

Watch out for the lifeguards because they do not want to do their job. I suffered a literal concussion on one of the slides and therefore entered the water in fetal position (with my head between my arms) due to the pain I was in.
I am an ex competitive swimmer, I handled the situation in the best way I could in order not to panic and I honestly do not know how an average person would have reacted to it.
The WORST part of this, is that the lifeguards at the bottom saw me struggling to stand up (keep in mind I was holding my head the whole entire time) and literally looked at each other to then turn around and walk away. Was I just another one of those ‘burdens’ they wanted to avoid?
I’ve been to this park multiple times and they have always been strict about the rules and would ALWAYS instruct people on how to slide down, not this time though.
The girl (I just cannot call her a lifeguard) at the top allowed the youngest of kids to slide down without even looking… She has not said a word if not ‘no glasses’ to explain how to sit/lay on the slide.
I am so disappointed. I love water parks and I do not what to blame the park for what happened to me, but come on, don’t hire kids who treat such an important job as a simple ‘summer-job’ because this is not it.
They have so many lives in their hands and simply refuse to be mature enough and actually do what their position requires them to do.
I hope you check on your employees because it is really a shame that such a beautiful place (that has never failed to make me smile) has now become my biggest fear.
I am a swimmer and those lifeguards took my love for water away.
One should not be scared of not getting the help they need in case they get hurt.
I needed help and although they saw me, they simply turned around.
A nightmare come true.

Took us an hour and a half to get there on public transport from centre of Rome.
20 year old daughter wanted to go on the slides and as I'm partially disabled, I just wanted to relax on a sunbed and I didn't want to go on any slides. Little did we know that ALL the sunbeds are charged extra - and you can't just pay for ONE, you have to buy TWO at ridiculous prices. Then it turned out that my daughter couldn't go on many of the slides on her own - you have to have 2 people for the decent ones (which was the reason my daughter wanted to go here in the first place). So she dragged me on to one of them - we queued for AGES with loads of screaming youngsters, only to get to the front of the queue to be told we couldn't go on it as my daughter had a tummy button piercing which she couldn't take out.
So we packed up leaving early and I asked to speak to the manager to ask for a partial refund seeing as we couldn't utilise any of the park.... only to be rudely told "The rules are on the ticket".... the tickets are sent to you AFTER you have paid for the entrance fee and they're non refunable. He wouldn't even give us a partial refund for our disasterous visit and wasted journey.
NOTHING on the website is in English. NO translation is offered on the website on phone, ipad or PC. So if you're not Italian, you have no way of finding out any of their rules or additional costs or even if any of this information is actually on their website.

We were close enough to order Rome’s answer to Uber (myTaxi app). It is doable on public transport and we found using google app for directions was quite reliable but you will have a 2 minute walk regardless as none stop at their gates. Their sun loungers are fab by the way
