Our guide, Laura Antonucci, exceeded our expectations. The meeting point was easy to locate and the check-in was fast. We learned a great deal of information as the tour was easy to follow. We highly recommend Rome Private Guides.

Our tour was scheduled for 9:30 am, but we arrived late at 9:40 am. Our group had already left, but the friendly staff got us into one of the next groups shortly after.
They explore the forum first and then we go into the Colosseum. This is definitely my preferred route because the forum really sets the stage for the Colosseum. The guide spent more time talking about the forum than the colosseum which is exactly what you want.

What an amazing time visiting the Vatican gardens, the museum, church and grounds. Even non religious people will feel the power and admire the beautiful experience. You can’t come to Rome and miss the Vatican

Mari was amazing! Talked about the Vatican with so much joy and passion! Also was extra careful with my grandmother of 87 years old reassuring she was always comfortable!

Valentino was an excellent, knowledgeable and safe driver. My husband and I had him as our driver to Sacro Bosco (Park of the Monsters, or “Parco dei Mostri”). He and the staff also were able to get us into a lunch paired with wine tasting at Palazzone. While we waited for lunch he took us to Orvieto and the surprise church. It was a wonderful day. Well worth the money. I would recommend Rome Private Guides and definitely ask for Valentino.

Felt like herded cattle, talked at rather than to, but a tour was the only option as all entry tickets sold out, presumably to these tour operators. Do yourself a favour and walk up to the free entry section of the Vatican, google some pictures of the Sistine
Chapel, take a peep into St Peter’s Basilica and give the savings to the homeless. It will be better use of the funds.

Hello, Day #1 in Rome, I am interested in having a private tour/or very small group for a family of 4 which includes ancient Rome: Roman Forum, Roman Colosseum, Palantine Hill, Piazza Navone, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, etc.
Day #2 in Rome, I am interested in Vatican City: St. Peters Basilica, Sistine Chapel, Vatican museums and a tour through the Vatican necropolis, catacombs, tomb of St. Peter. Is this possible? Days to include this July 11 and 12. How many hours for each tour? How to book with an improvised itinerary? Thank you, Bernadette

I am on the business trip in Italy and only have one day stay in Rome, that Is on June 7th.
I wanted very much to be able to visit Coliseum Arena and Undergrounds in particular, but couldn’t find any tours available for that day . Would that be possible to hire a private tour on that date?
The tour might also include The Stadium of Domitian( Underground ) , Mamertine Prison, Gladiator Museum, Baths of Caracalla and Underneath Rome
Preferably in the late afternoon or the evening time.

We are interested in the virtual reality tour for families. We have 5 kids and 3 adults. We are going on August 4. I don’t see any reviews of the VR tour. Big price difference between getting the tickets online and this tour at 50 euros a piece. Need to find reviews of VR tour

We booked by phone as we live here. And the golf cart was for three people and I believe it came to about 200 euros. I'm never ever sure about the price as my husband always takes care of the payment. Ours was a small cart, but I've seen bigger ones going around, Good idea to get to the source to get information. Sorry I haven't been of much help.

Hello, I will be arriving in Rome at approximately 6pm on Sept 21 and would like to do a private walking tour that evening for about 3 hours to see the city for the first time at night and start to understand the layout of Rome.
