This is the right way to see Rome! The walking tours are well organized, the guides know their stuff, each have their own approach to historical storytelling, nonetheless still entertaining. I went in two tours with these guys and both were very informative and fun.

Shane took us on a terrific tour of the Ghetto and Trastevere. He communicated his passionate interest in Roman history without being in any way pedantic, and kept us engaged for the entire 2 hours. We were sorry when it ended!

We did the evening tour and the Jewish ghetto tour. Really enjoyed both of them. Excellent value for a free service. We definitely left a tip for our guide

Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and

Yes it is just 5 euros per person to secure your space as they only have about 10 people on each tour. Then you tip the guide after the tour.
