If ever you visit Rome and are short of time this is a must to see the highlights of the city. The buggies are simple to drive and fantastic for getting between the various sites. We visited the city for the day from a cruise ship. We chose the 5 hour self drive option. That gave us lots of time to whip around the major sites.
Each buggy comes complete with an I pad and back pack preprogrammed with all of the directions from one site to another. The buggies are very nippy and are able to keep up with the traffic on all on the major roads. As they are powered by electric all of your parking is free and can be parked up in any car or scooter parking bays.
Peter was really helpful at check in and spoke wonderful English. He made the whole experience trouble free and would highly recommend hiring one of his buggies to see Rome and have fun doing so.

What a Fantastic Vespa Experience!
Very helpful and friendly bilingual (Italian and English) manager/owner.

My wife and I hired a Buzz car a few years ago and loved it. Back in a Rome with kids we hired two this time. Fantastic day of sight-seeing (followed some of Peter’s excellent itineraries) and went a bit “off piste” occasionally, well it was our 5th time in Rome.
Kids loved every minute of it (especially the walkie-talkie’s that Peter gave them to communicate between Buzzs.
If you hire one (or two) don’t miss the Magic Keyhole - looks like the most insignificant tourist attraction compared to the Colosseum but it is amazing (photo’s never come out so you’ll have to remember the view).
Peter is charming and makes everything very easy. Thank you Peter (maybe next time we’re back with the kids they’ll be driving us!!!)

We rented one of the electric cars Buzz on a Sunday for about 5 hours. It is tiny and at first sight scary, but was the greatest adventure we had in Italy. We follow the tour on the ipad installed in the car and we were able to check all the tourist points of Rome with no problems at all. After a few minutes you do not feel it is scary anymore, you just drive on the road as if you were a car too, lol. By the way, Peter is a gentleman, very nice to deal with.

We found Buzz on trip advisor and being scandinavian women at 50 and 60 this was a life saver. So easy to park and so easy to drive, absolutely recommended! Not even tired after 5 hrs 😊 so much fun, just do it!

We had reserved the buzz for 5 hours on 26th April 2014. But unfortunately, our flight to Rome got delayed and our whole plan for the day was about to be jeaopardized.
Also it was the swearing ceremony at Vatican that day which made it almost impossible for us to goto Buzz office to pick the car.
Peter was kind enough to understand the situation and delivered the electric car to our hotel at no extra cost. Also he generally closes at 8 PM but for us he waited until 10.30 PM and personally cameover to collect the car.
Services apart, driving the Buzz around the city is fun as it gets you lots of attention.
Overall, had a great day in Rome and i give its credit to Buzz4tours (Peter).

We spotted Buzz4Tours from Tripadvisor when we were looking for Rome sightseeing in December. The office location was easy to find and when we saw the "Buzz" on the outside we had to book it immediately! The vehicle itself is very fun and easy to handle and you don't have to worry about getting a parking space (it fits like a glove even into to tiniest spaces). You are also allowed to drive the vehicle on most of the sidewalks too. The GPS has preinstalled routes on it which will guide you easily to the main sights of Rome. The podcasts on the IPad are also very informative if you want to dive a little deeper into the Rome's history. We got lots of looks while cruising the streets of Rome so prepare to be photographed by pedestrians on the traffic lights :) All in all we really want to thank Peter (the owner) who was a real gentleman! This experience made our trip and we can sincerely recommend the Buzztour instead of a boring Bustour!

Peter is a warm, friendly, easy going guy. His website link to Rome's must see sites, powered by google maps, is fantastic and easy to use. Though we often found it may have been quicker to walk to points of interest nearby, owing to Rome's many one way systems, it just wouldn't have been nearly as much fun to walk. If you're a confident rider and you just go with the flow you'll have plenty of fun. It seems that everyone adheres to just one rule and that is...ignore all the rules. That said, everyone seems to just get along in the melee and we found there to be very little road rage and people actually seem pretty tolerant. Have a good look on street view before attempting to the find Buzz4Tours office, it's small and pretty inconspicuous. We walked straight past it the first time. I'd also recommend using google street view to check where the fuel stations are in the city, many seem to be just a couple of pumps by the roadside and are easy to miss too. All in all, we had a really great time and highly recommend Buzz4Tours, thanks Peter.

It’s a great way to see the city. The iPad navigation with the key POIs is fantastic. The lack of horns on the cars really makes navigating pedestrian filled streets challenging.
One thing I would note is, if you’re over 6”2 then this isn’t for you. The side view mirrors nor the pedals work for you if you’re tall. I had to return the car earlier due to the comfort and difficulty driving without side or rear view mirrors.

Thanks you for taking the time to write in.
We must apologize for obviously not showing you how to operate the horn on Buzz but I'd like to reassure future customers that although it's hidden, it's there... but then we don't use the horn much in Rome :-)
I am also surprised to note that you were not offered our free, 100% sustainable, "leg shortening and/or depilation service" which, in your case would have helped tremendously, I refer to your height of course! The staff member who checked you in, obviously wanted to take sweet revenge since he's only 5'5'' .... on a good day!
I am pleased that the iPad and nav. did the trick for you, seemingly enough to drive 25 Km around the city despite the discomfort.
Should we choose to diversify in more comfortable vehicles or should you shrink unduly under a cold shower, you will be the first to qualify for a free rental. :-)

We are a group of 6 and rented 3 buzz for 5 hours. However, we highly recommended to get a 10 hours if you want to have the full coverage.

Sorry to get back so late..
Our pre-set tours are such because they have been created by us together with text for each site you visit. They cover a wide spectrum of interests and each point of interest has been programmed on our Navigator in mileage order. All you have to do is just Click on the iPad we provide and you're off! It has all been done for you, we assist you with where to go and how to get there AND have a lot of fun thrown into the bargain:-)

For 3 people, do I do 2 seperate transactions or do I simply enter 3 people for the reservation? And what is the difference between the 6, 8, and 10 for the 5 hour rentals?

Hi Jennifer, apologies for the delay in responding this is not one of our usual channels-
Each Buzz takes 2 people you should therefore select the 4 tour option which will indicate to us that you require 2 buggies - you therefore need to do one transaction only.

The answer to your question is yes, you would do 2 separate transactions. Each driver will sign a Rental Agreement for each Buzz on pick-up.

Hello, yes of course families are always welcome - Buzz is for 2 people therefore you will need to rent 2 Buzz buggies -
Please note however that, although there are seat belts on board, child seats cannot physically be fitted, and there is no room to carry a stroller with you, therefore Buzz would be unsuitable with children under 3.
The good news is that we currently offer families with children under 14 a 50% reduction on the second Buggy rented.
