In a few words, we had the luck to find a guide very passionate about his job. A person with tons of information about cultures, religion, history and arts. His name is Ribal Abighanem. He explained, in detail, every single piece of art or history that we've meet along the Vatican tour. It was really a celebration of culture!

Our tour was led by Jason, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were pleased to have skipped the normal queues to the museum and basilica as they were huge and didn't appear to be moving. You do need to wait a short time for tickets and headsets but that's just because there are a lot of tours as you'd... More

We had a great tour with Eugene Hertoghe. He was so friendly and knowledgable. We skipped the lines and learned so many things we would have never known. Tour was about 2.5 hours and cost €41. Eugene has a great sense of humor and really engaged us. My only comment would be that the group was a little large and... More

We saw the queue and thought that we will spend almost the whole day on it. However, we were quite lucky to have found this tour company. We paid around 40 euro for the whole tour. We tour was led by Debra. She was amazing as she took her time in explaining and answering every questions we asked along the... More

We had a great time touring the Vatican with Jason. He was extremely knowledgeable and he maintained just the right pace. Its also much better to take the tour as you get to skip the standard entry line. We had a great time and I highly recommend taking this tour.

I DO NOT recommend this tour to any body. You are better off getting your tickets BEFORE you go (buy directly from the museum website) and take a good half day or more to walk, read, stop and choose whatever you want to see. WHY? here are SOME of my reasons: Tour was very unorganized, didn't start on time, too... More

My boyfriend and I joined a tour led by Debra who was not only well-versed in English, she was so passionate about the history of the artists and the popes, I was soaking up everything she talked about. She pointed out so many details I would have never caught nor known to appreciate. She made my visit to the Vatican... More

Ribal, our guide, really excelled in his job. He told me and my family really interesting things about the vatican and the sistine chapel. If someone I know wants to visit Rome, I'll definitely ask him/her to do a Vatican Tour and ask for Ribal, he's a true specialist in what he does. Regards from Belgium!

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
