Lumi was very knowledgeable and entertaining. She made the tour educational and fun! We toured the Colosseum, Roman Forum, etc. Lumi really was the highlight of the tour. It was 3.5 hours and totally worth it. Lumi answered our questions and thoroughly explained every artifact and scene we visited. Loved her!

Giovanni picked us up from Rome and showed us a few places on the way to our hike. The area was very beautiful and peaceful. He was very knowledgeable and knows all about the history of the mountains and wolves . All the villages we passed on the way to the trail were places not normally seen by tourists. This... More

This was an incrediable tour. What made it the HIGHLIGHT of the day was our tour guide Dennis. We did a morning tour at the Vatican prior to this tour (not that the Vatican was bad) But Dennis MADE the Colosseum tour. He is EVERYTHING a tourist wants in a guide. First impression? Uh, gorgeous! I kid you not! In... More

Dennis was our tour guide and he did an amazing job. His knowledge and love of his home city is evident during his tour. He shared the history of the Roman culture with such passion and delight, we couldn't help but enjoy the education we received. Booked through Viator but what a fantastic tour. Highly recommended this tour but especially... More

This was a very nice tour. The women who greeted us were very kind and welcoming. Our guide Lumi was great. Had fun and learned about Rome and some secrets about how things were in the past.

The JourneysToItaly.com tour of the Colosseum, which my friend and I booked through Viator, was the most fascinating three hours I have spent in years. Our guide, Lumi, was the perfect guide because not only did she know thousands of facts about every detail of the Colosseum, but she explained everything in a way that brought the past vividly to... My husband and I booked the Colosseum and Ancient Rome Tour by Night through Viator. The meeting point for the tour started at the company's office in Rome. Staying in Flaminio

Neighbourhood Profile
Flaminio
The Flaminio area has been making a name for itself as a hub for contemporary architecture and art. Over the past decade, Flamino’s grassy knolls have seen the rise of cultural centres - amazing feats of architecture like the beautiful Ponte della Musica, the wavy contemporary art MAXXI Museum, and the futuristic Parco della Musica, a music complex where international names perform. Flaminio also has traces of the 1960 Olympic Games with Palazzetto dello Sport and Villagio Olimpico, the athlete’s Olympic village turned residential housing. If culture means a ball and a foot, keep your eye on the prize: Rome’s famed Stadio Olimpico football stadium is just a short walk across a bridge.
