We went on the vespa tour and it was very scary. We told the tour guide that my husband had only driven on a vespa a couple times, about a year ago, so we'd love it if we could take it slow. He said yes, but then as we followed behind him (we were the only ones on the tour)... More

My girlfriend and I went on a guided vespa tour. It was a very nice experience. Because we've been in Rome several times before our guide Paolo didn't show us all the main attractions that we had already seen, he was determined to show us new places. He also gave us the possibility to pick the places we wanted to... More

I have no problem with the bike rental and the staff is lovely and kind. My suggestion to Rome for You: When a tourist is heading out have some single sheets with a simple map , instructions, and what landmarks to watch for. I was told 'over the bridge and go straight to find the Appian Way'. Well, it's just... More

We rented our bikes at the shop in Trastevere and were very pleased with the service and the state of the bikes. The bikes were in excellent condition (6 gears) and came with a solid lock and lights. If you want to discover Rome, try biking in the citycenter. It will get you to all the places you want to... More

We did the Appian tour with our private tour-guide Francesco. A bike tour of around 4/5 hours, it's up to you how often you stop and which places you enter or just listen to the information of your guide. You are going to places where wont go by yourself. Definitely recommend this tour at Rome for You! Thank you Francesco!

We rented 3 bikes for half day and it was fantastic! The bikes are in perfect conditions. The personal of Rome for you is kind and they will try to help you with everything they can. We asked them about a route and their explanations were very useful! 10 points!

Great way to experience Rome. Had a 125cc White Vespa for my wife and me. Driving slowly and carefully around the city. No heavy traffic problems and no parking problems.. 3 days of real fun with Waze GPS app. The renting company was very good. Lovely people ready to help at all times.. good price with a small discount.. additional... More

We wanted to rent a scooter for just one hour. But it was only possible to rent it for four hours. This turned out to be perfect. We enjoyed the scooter ride and could view to city from the locals point of view. And this with only one liter of gas if you ride on your own on the scooter... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
