Nice expensive cocktails

nice cocktails but pretty pricey. They don't have a seating area outside, so for a tourist like me i am missing the buzz of the lovely piazza outside.

Stylish upscale cocktail bar serving wide range of own and classic cocktails, beers, wine and good quality aperitivo (bar food served to customers between 7pm and 10pm). Good location near the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, making this an excellent spot for a drink and aperitivo (breads, pizza, sushi) after a days site seeing and before an evening meal. Very relaxing... More

I love Salotto 42! It is a small trasure in the heart of Rome opposite the Stock Exchange Building of Rome, mostly visited by Italians (not so many tourists), it is a typial modern Italian bar nicely decorated, where you see nice people taking a drink or an aperitivo. I didn't visit it for 2-3 years and it was a... More

Just arrived in Rome with 4 colleagues and by accident we chose this place for a drink (and then we got snacks too). 🎉 We ended up spending a couple of hours here, having three drinks each and is now on a mission: for the rest of our stay we have to try more (and only different) drinks from the... Totally chill vibe inside, really great service. Though the wine wasn't optimal and neither was the food, it was still a really great place to sit, have a drink and chat. Loved the atmosphere, not too loud, but not a tame environment either. Would highly recommend this place, and would go again if given the opportunity!

We accidentally found Salotto 42 between Piazza Navona and Via del Corso. They have excellent drinks, nice music, beautiful atmosphere and lighting. It is located in a square with ancient columns that makes the place unique.

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
